Andy's game has always matched up well against Fed's. He has lost in 3 slam finals to him before and that has been used to crank up the pressure on him. maybe now though having annhialated Federer to win his gold medal and subsequently his maiden major, he should relax and play his normal game.

Andy in 4 for me

Also going by Andy's records he was tipped to win OZ open before any other slam.

Murray getting many more first serves in and winning more if those first serves. If fed improves his first serve effectiveness we have a match.

amazing quality levels from Fed though...still , Murray beats him here..& it's the start of the slide for him though eh..if it hasn't started already

Murray too strong and should seal this one off easily.

conditions suiting Andy here..

This is too close to call.

I said 50/50 before the match with Murray the marginal favourite and i stand by it. Murray is clearly more impressive atm but Fed is playing the percentages: he can continue struggling with his serve but as long as he gets into a tie -break, he has a big chance.

Whatever the result - and the longer this slugfest goes on - Djokovic will be smiling. Fed can beat Murray but will most likely fall against Djoko (he is an old man.

However, Murray can beat Fed but still surpass Djoko - though it will be a big ask.

Worst I've seen Andy return in ages. He's trying to lace the tiitts of every serve. Just block them back and start from there.

Andy already started to look tired!! Fed is playing good tennis now and has come back very well in this match. Fed having upper hand at the moment but still too close to call.

ATM fed is being outmuscled. TBH even if Fed wins today, he will hardly have any chance against Djoker.

Also, this match tells you that how lucky Djoker was to get Ferru as SF opponent. It seems that he really has become Nadal version 2 even in terms of the luck of the draw (echoes of nitb's conspiracy theories).

Is there a reason John Lloyd commentates like he has played at the highest level? So, so critical.
