Hard to see past a Lakers-Celtics final
lol maybe a lakers-knicks final...
Maybe a bit too late to do predictions. May do it next round.
GS struggled at home to NO though, davis is such a best, so quick for his size and will cause them all sorts of problems over how many games it goes. GS were crusing until a late rally by NO.
Toronto just missed out after OT
and I looked last night and looked like the cavs were cruising.
I watched the Hawks game, Lopez looks a real threat they didn't know how to cope with him.
Davies was unreal
I can't believe how good CP3 was.
So. Rockets take a 2-0 lead on the Mavs. Harden playing well but not MVP well, Howard is playing like Orlando Howard and Josh Smith is apparently the next Magic Johnson with that display yesterday. All good in Houston so far! (Hopefully)
In other news, Scotty Brooks got canned from OKC. Kevin Ollie of UConn and Billy Donovan of Florida are favourites to take over. Increasing our chances of landing Durant in 2016. Howard, Harden, and KD is a pretty formidable big 3. Hope it pans out.
Rondo just walked out on his team. Will not be returning to the Mavs next season, from what I've heard.
Wtf scholes harden Howard's and KD would be a bit mad. But would harden and KD just ask similar questions that Westbrook and KD have had in that they play better alone as the star?
And could Houston afford them all?
Could make room for three max contracts. Would mean they would have no depth on the bench though probably.
Also, it would be just a lot of 1-on-1 BBall. Which would be very good on its day, but it never wins championships.
Edin, you a San Antonio fan?
For you:

That is so weird.
I wish Tottenham were run as well as the SA.
It is safe to assume that this is the only team in the world whose mascot is weaponized poultry

From what I've been hearing from the GM's and college coaches in and around Texas, the salary cap will expand to almost $100m once the new TV Deal is in place. So yes, we can afford them!
Dwight has an Early Termination Option in 2016 to re-up his contract and we have his Bird Rights. Signing KD and potentially a bunch of other players before resigning Dwight might be the most feasible option.
Not saying it's a guaranteed done deal but with the way our GM operates, he shoots for the stars every offseason and hope to get lucky. For example, I've been hearing chatters about LMA possibly being in a Rockets uniform next year. We are at our limit in terms of salaries but for whatever reasons, this is something that has been whispered in and out of Houston. Dunno how it's going to work but it's an option we are looking at.
BTW, I think Dwight is going to take a pay cut to stay in Houston next year. Dude loves it here and has 24/7 mentoring from the Dream. The Houston media adores him, and isn't always out to "witch-hunt" like the ones in LA.
So essentially, we could be walking into 2016 with one max, one near max, and a huge jump in salary cap to pursue a star FA.
KD & Harden would be demanding max, no doubt.
Kawhi DPOTY
The claw.
Bosh future hall of famer?
Think bosh would be a hall of gamer due to his personality as well as his achievements.
Did u see currys 3 pointer after missing one the other day?
The game winner (which should have been a 4 point play)?
Haven't had the time to watch any playoffs games. Though looking at the results it seems I haven't missed much and most have been one sided.
Hopefully I can watch the second rounds. Well at least just my Bulls vs Cavs series. I know they've got Lebron and all but I think we can handle them.
Nice to see you back Saint, where have you been hiding?
You love the Spurs and Kawhi yet?
Curry for MVP? (deffo)
Would be interesting if the Nets went through, I don't think there is a talented big man in the East who can cope with Lopez.
edin where you at?
you watching the spurs-clippers series?
Unfortunately I did, thats me for the end of the bball season. No other team I particularly care about watching bar maybe the Wizards and GSW.
Congrats on the title Cleveland
No Love, no title. It's GSW to lose at this point. Hope the Rockets prove me wrong.
Clippers with no bench, a hobbled Paul, a 1 day rest after an exhausting series, and thin frontline? I like our chances if we can get their bigs into foul trouble early. We had a week to scout out the Clippers, hope they did their homework.
Rockets will ease past Clippers, they are too battered from the last round and don't have the bench to equate for it.
