not watching this game. is it good?

Good game.

Kobe is passing great.

Westbrook has 9 assists already.

... 1-9 though

Kobe is amazing. 21/14/9.

Good win for the Lakers.

lakers are 0-12 whenhe scores > 35 pts.

won every game where he has 11 or more assist.

Westbrook was one rebound away from a triple double

13 assists tho...

hes poor saint. accept it.

He's a top 5 pg and one of the most athletic players in the league.

He's amazing.

posted on 27/1/13

top 5? no. shot selection worst than any player in the league, and this is a league including jr smith and kobe bryant.

posted on 27/1/13

worst in the league? Please calm down. His shot selection isnt that bad.

He's easily top 5. Much improved passer, one of the best at driving to the rim and finishing and can knock down the free throws at great efficiency.

Please tell me who is better than him.

Surely not worst in the league? What about Crawford or Joe Johnson or JR Smith!?

I remember taping this game and watching it the day after. One of the best big man duals in NBA history I reckon.

I'm starting to like Griffin. He's improved.

westbrooks shot selection is worse than theres trust me. i remember i think game 3 v us in the finals, westbrook got like 30+ points. magic called it the worst pg performace in the history of the finals. he has the worst shot selection ever.

i still dont like grinning, he still has 0 post moves apart from the spin, no shot, poor-average defence, ok rebounder. great athleticism.

ethan strauss s my fave basketball blogger. here is some of his tweets on deng

Ethan Strauss ‏@SherwoodStrauss
Deng gets consecutive All-Star selections now, but he's the rare player who's gotten worse since age 21 http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/d/denglu01.html …

Ethan Strauss ‏@SherwoodStrauss
Ya, Deng's just not thought of as a "what could have been?" guy RT @Cosmis Multiple stress fractures tend to do that to people.

@SherwoodStrauss @DewNO Remember this? http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/columns/story?columnist=sheridan_chris&page=Deng_Bryant … Bulls fans didn't think it that ridiculous.

Ethan Strauss ‏@SherwoodStrauss
I still can't believe Deng made the All-Star team again.

Westbrook averaged 27pts on 43% from the field against Miami in the finals In his 43pt game, he shot 63% from the field. He can improve his shot selection but you're exaggerating in saying its the worst.

That blogger guy clearly doesnt watch games and just looks purely at box scores. Deng fully deserves the All-star selection and has been the best player/leader for the 3rd seed in the East.

43% from the field. 43%. that is awful saint. his shot selection is easily the worst in the league. there is no doubt about that. he has alot of potential. if he was under doc rivers, he could be very special.

posted on 28/1/13

43% is poor, yes, but there are players who shoot in the 30s in the NBA. I'm here debating with you that he isn't "the worst".

Of course he has a lot of potential but he's already a top 5 pg. 23/8/5 this season. Those are elite numbers.

posted on 28/1/13

his true shooting percentage (if you are into advanced stats) is .513. the worst of any of the top 30 pg's. 6th worst in top 50.

posted on 28/1/13

assist ratio 43rd in the league (in pg)

TO ratio 24th in the league (in pg)

rebound rate he is 7th (in pg)

Monta Ellis is shooting 40% from the field. His TS is 48%.

Brandon Jennings is shooting 40% from the field. His TS is 51%.

That is two examples of PGs who are worse than Westbrook at picking the right shots. Now please calm down.

posted on 28/1/13

they are also bad a shot selection. but worse percentage doesnt just mean bad shot selection. also means bad shooting. TS adds in 3pt and FT's

seen that thread dedicated to you on cfc board? dafuq.

JR Smith is shooting 40% from the field. His TS is 48%.

Not a PG but a guard.

That is 3. I'd add Jamal Crawford who I love but despite having one of his most efficient seasons, he's shooting on 42%. Nick Young is 41%.

I know what TS is. D-Will for example is shooting 40% from the field but his ridiculous FTs efficiency jumps his TS too 57%. Same with Curry and his 3 pointers.
