I go by the official stats of the PL
-
that site uses the fantasy assists that arent recognised by anyone. fantasy assists include penaltys and stuff. not real.

Valencia has more assists than Bale I think. I can say with absolute certainty that he's not been better than Bale.

I prefer to watch the players and make a judgment based on that.

I cant believe you are paying Walnut £10k a week, this sort of outlay is scandalous for small clubs, you will be going into administration next.

What the hell is this garbage?

Bale is ridiculously overrated, more than Nani with some United fans

Walnut dived against Wigan, to claim the 3 points

Those are just assists though. 4 assists + 0 goals vs 1 assists + 9 goals. Bale has clearly out performed Valencia this season.

Not saying Walcott is "better" than Bale, I'm just saying Walcott has outperformed Bale this season.

I bet Bale is on less money than Walcott is.

Further proof of Walcott's superiority over the Welshmammal.

Dont be soft Ricky Villas Boas, Figueroa clearly fouled Walcott. Blatant contact.

Bale is more talented than Walcott

However Walcott has learnt to utilize his talent to the best effect, until Bale can do the same Walcott is the better player.

How many goals has the world class Defoe got this season

I get what you're saying, Saint. But it was to support my point about how stats aren't always reflective. Meaningless was probably harsh.

From what I've seen of both players I think Bale has been better. And I think Bale is the most overrated player in the league.

So Bale as a winger has scored almost as many as Walcott the striker.

What a player!

I'm sorry, but for me, Bale is a far better player than Walcott, even if he is a massive diver.

Walcott is being played as a striker and Bale a winger, obviously Walcott is going to have more goals!

I honestly think Bale wouldn't look out of place at a club like Real, Walcott would

Bale is a far better player than Walcott. It's delusional to think otherwise.

Walcott played 4 games as a striker before he signed his contract, he is back to a winger now...

Sir Bubbly, Bale would be on the bench for Madrid.

If the play directly leads to a goal then I'd count that as an assist. Bale hasn't won us a penalty this year, no-one has, we still havn't had one!

walcott has played as a striker only 3 times.

Fair enough Darren. I personally think Walcott has been the better player this season and has been extremely efficient this season in terms of chances put away and making plays for others.

Stats shouldn't be something you base your whole argument on but especially for attacking players, its very important.

Bale - linked with Barcelona and Real Madrid

Walcott - linked with Liverpool

I rest my case.
