i was adding goals and assists up, you know, because a assist creates a goal, and a goal is a goal, so both result in goals create/finished by that player.

so stats dont back you up.

Walcott scored 15 and had 13 assists
Suarez scored 25 and had 5 assists

Suarez would be top scorer.....thats how its works. You cant add assist to a scorers record!!!! viva versa u cant add goals to an assists.
