Pretty sure at least the first 4 in your list have said that we were unlucky and were pipped to the win..

Robbed? How?

Unlucky, yes...but not robbed.

Not robbed Vera??? Started sloppily I accept. They took the lead with an outrageous deflection although they were on top at the time, Then we absolutely annihilated them for over an hour. The best football I have seen us play since I can't remember when. Howard making worldy saves and them resorting to fouling us (particularly Chungy) at every opportunity. Do you see their foul count compared to ours? As usual Fellaini was at the centre of it. He should have been off for 2 yellows.

They score at the death and you are trying to tell me that they deserved it? Sorry Vera, totally disagree with you on that one. What argument can you put forward to say that we were only unlucky? Surely you are not trying to convince me that they deserved to win?? They barely deserved a draw let alone anything else. There was only one team that deserved to go through and they weren't playing in blue.

Anyway on a positive note, if what I witnessed on Saturday is the shape of things to come all things BWFC then I for one will have no complaints!!!

I agree wholeheartedly with you Stanton.

After the game I was on the train heading back to Mcr on the train having a chat with a few Everton fan who thought they had mugged us. One of them felt the need to apologise! We looked the prem team in the 2nd half, moyes takes off a striker for a defender with 5 minutes to go and he scores! I felt sick!

The game is all about ...results. No use playin' pretty football if you you lose week in, week out. There again, there were quite a few Whites fans who rubbished BSA's methods of play ... despite him making Bolton a team to be feared by everyone in the Prem, and keepin' us at the right end of the table every season, challenging (and beating) the best that the Prem had to offer on a regular basis. Unfortunately, some 'purist ' fans would rather see us play 30-40 mins of pretty football and lose, than see us overpower the opposition and grind out a win. The OC / DF way might delight a few with the occassional bit of ' style ', but, if it's ' winning football ' you want (and, end of the day, that's what we as a club desperately need) then prepare to be as mightily disappointed under DF as most were (eventually) under OC ....
