Crouch and Bent ahead of Walcott, Torres, Welbeck and Sturridge?

posted on 27/1/13

Bent has regularly scored 20 plus goals a season. Torres will never be the same. Walcott and the Dannys are still developing. Crouch also has qualities

What about that Russian guy who plays for Reading?

posted on 27/1/13

I knew before I opened the article that Giroud would be number 30

Pavel Progrobeneryulayak? Forgot about him.

Not sure how Aguero is above Tevez, Suarez and especially Rooney.

Gerood*

Well it isn't exactly rocket science

You would have been quicker just typing an article saying Giroud is pants. I would have given you 5 s too. But You are only getting 4 from me because you have the beast Podolski so low down

Yh perhaps he should be below Rooney and Tevez to be honest. Maybe not Suarez though

Thats him.

Hes better than numerous on the list.

Torres isnt even in the top 30 strikers at Chelsea...

When Podolski joined the PL I thought he would set it on fire but by his standards he's been a let down which is why he's so low

What has Balotelli done to deserve a spot ?

He is awful and the only reason he's highly rated is because he tells everyone he's brilliant

Never shows it on pitch though

posted on 27/1/13

I probably did put Balotelli too high if I'm being honest

Lukaku > Welbeck

Everyone bar Carroll > Torres

1. RVP

2.

There's actually only one real good striker in the PL

When has Balotelli ever been at his best in PL ??

He's done ok, but for 27 million I'd expect more than just a player throwing hissy fits and paying for people's petrol.

suarez and rvp are the two best strikers in the premier league.....

posted on 27/1/13

1.Suarez+RvP

2. Rooney+Tevez+Aguero

3. a bunch of other strikers

So true. I've not seen anything from him that would make me want him in my squad over Welbeck. And seriously, that is when you take out the whole attitude and trouble side of him. Based purely on what each of them has produced on the pitch over the last two years i'd take Welbeck

Michu missing, and 4th top scorer in PL. Bit of a gross oversight there.

posted on 27/1/13

Not heard of Michu then?

Welbeck shouldn't be near the list - 1 goal all season is horrific.

And podolski has never really been that consistent upfront, he has a poor record so why people expected loads out of him I don't know.

Suarez is great but he's better as a second striker or playing off of a striker, the guy takes about 14 shots to get 1 goal, poor strike/completion rate and you can't really call him a out and out striker as his finishing is not one of his strong points
