First message on new site finally logged in! Can't see Lita being a 20 goal man, more similar to Nugent. However, was reading the metro this morning and didnt realise Blackburn hadn't bought Roque Santa Cruz from Man City. With the signing of Aguero he's even more surplus to requirements. Think he'd be a terrific loan signing for the central role in 4-3-3 or 4-5-1!

Didn't Sven try to sign Sant Cruz when he first arrived here last season? I think the players wasn't interested in coming to us in the end.

Santa Cruz is a great shout, completely forgot about him. He would score bundles!!
According to the Mercury Sven may be close to signing a new striker as we expect "1 or 2 more signings".
I cant wait for the 'clear out' Gonna be interesting!
Lita is just a greedy mercenary, he didn't particularly set the world alight at Boro. With regards to Santa Cruz, I think he stated that he wasn't prepared to drop down to the championship after our enquiry last time, and Man City seem to have no qualms with loaning him to another premiership club, so I think he'll be loaned out to a mid table prem team.
Lita - NO - didn't pearson try and sign him? he didn't want to play for us then and went to M'bro
I doubt Lita is that 20 goal a season striker that we would like in our squad. He might not be bad as a squad player but we've got plenty of them - we need someone who will score goals consistently and I don't think Leroy is that man.
I think it might be agent talk to get Bristol to hurry up over Maynard.
Disagree with people here - Lita is a natural finisher and with our midfield would score a hatful
Well Lita has had a good four years worth at this level and has never come close to hitting 20 goals, so I think this pesimism is understandable.
Looks like he's off to Swansea anyway.
I hope he goes to Swansea. Santa Cruz would be fantastic but not seen any articles around the internet about him being linked to us
