I've asked the same question on the wrestling board and the article was promptly deleted.

Some of the tweets I've seen from people complaining about the result of a fixed wrestling match. I'm genuinely curious as to what the appeal is to adults/ anyone whos is aware that it is all completely falsified?
I can only imagine if football was pre-determined like that it'd be dismissed by most.

Did Breaking Bad just get compared to wrestling?
crikey.
So you know it's fixed.
It's men in tight suits, jumping on other men in tight suits.
I'd say that's odd, yes.

it's not a big deal, and I'm really not judging. lots of my friends appear to actually like it, and I'm just interested in what the appeal is, and how people get themselves wound up over the result of a pre-determined 'sport' thats all?
Anything I've ever seen of it appears to be mostly over the top, poorly acted drama masquerading as a sport. correct me if I'm wrong.

Pete, would you watch re-runs of Arsenal games where we lost?
You know the outcome, isn't the entertainment value somewhat lost?

"wrestler A should not have won because he has already been champion 5 times, and its getting boring seeing him win all the time" etc...

From what I've seen people are congratulating the winners from a wrestling match, and seem to cheer on and support certain wrestlers, and get frustrated when hey lose. I really just don't get it.
