I am not suprised, why is India?

The sad thing is, many (not all) Indian fans are living in a bubble created by the propaganda machine that is the BCCI.

The players are seen as demi-gods (or full blown Deities in the case of Tendulkar and Dhoni), and this attitude permeates through to the players themselves. It's a kind of vicious cycle.

There is no doubting India have some great players, and when they get it right it goes very right. But, as the OP states, England are a team, while India are a collection of individuals (I reference Bhaji's dismissals in both innings) wearing the same badge on their cap.

quite right - i think some fans/media away from england and oz dismissed our ashes win because oz have lost a lot of great players of late. However anybody who watches any oz teams play (and over the years i've seen plenty of the buggers) will understand that no australian sports team is easy to beat especially in their own back yard.

I doubt the Indian team are suprised by England they had a poor test and some disruption to their line up - i dont think they'll perform so badly in this test.
