If Arsenal spent 30 million pounds on those three players I'd cry. I want us to spend money, but not waste it.

It is the ambition that counts. I would be willing to let Wenger and co make mistakes if they were at least showing some initiative to try and improve us. Rather just sit on our hands and keep our fingers crossed than everything will work itself out in the end.

But I despair at the Liverpool comparison, they are one of the last clubs we should look to for transfer inspiration

It didn't even take Inter 2 seasons to realize Coutinho was never going to become the player many Brazilians had hoped he would.

He won't improve Liverpool.

Batmanu spends half his time moaning about the poor quality of our players, and the other half moaning when other clubs buy inferior players to those he moans about.

If we went out and "showed ambition" and bought half decent players for big money he would be moaning about us wasting money on shít.

Yeah but in the case of Spurs Batmanu is right. They realised that Huddlestone is a liability and Holtby possibly improve them. We need a DM for everyone to see but Wenger ignore our problem in this position. Big difference.
