Picking Rednapp may be the worst mistake they could have made. He will bankrupt them with new players on ridiculous money, go on to somethimg bigger while the owner will walk away.
There was Robbo supporting our players while he was looking on their players to fail.
My heart does not bleed that much Ron. They had a better team than us - and we were plain lucky in the first half, and for once took the chances that came our way.
But the opening few minutes I really thought we were going to get well and truely done over. Then our first corner and we score - if that had been a normal match day we would have had all the possesion and missed all our chances.
Then second half we started to play and move the ball around, and frankly they just crumbled at the back. After going 2 up, were were creating plenty of chances - and guess what, with so many scoring options, we then could not put the ball away......
But what a day.....we just need to take these type of chances in our league games.....hope Bamford is coming back to Stadium MK
Also any news on McKenzie? Looked like a hamstring injury.
That said pushing Williams back into defence was an excellent move and he looked much more comfortable from then on. Chicko playing in front of Deano was a great move as well, he took the fight to the R's much further up the field as well as creating som good attacking stuff.
And for me Smith was immense, he really helped settle the team and provided some great leadership. The R's really struggled with him. And he focused on the game rather that piling into the oposition.
Martin too deserves a mention - some great shot stopping. Yep the whole team put in a real performance. We seem to raise our game for better teams - and somehow fluff it with what should be bankable wins.
Bring on Barnsley - they will be well up for it COYD
I think its a bit harsh blaming Redknapp as Hughes and Warnock brought all those dummies in on big money.
I'm certainly not blaming him for the current crop and for my money Hughes was a big headed waste of space.
We all know happy Harry likes to spend big and Tottenham were just about big enough for him, although he still left under a cloud. QPR are a Championship club with designs to be Premier one and may easily go into freefall if Harry Houdini fails in his great escape.
