since when can a country play for a team
Am I missing something in Suso's comment or is everyone else on DAB while he's on short wave?

As I said it is ridiculous some of the average players today that pick up multiple medals, when some of the greats hardly won anything
--------------
Yeah, like Lampard.
i was being sarcastic, i knew it was an awful joke

At just about any time in history, average players have won titles complementing their greater team mates or even doing next to nothing to deserve it. Another of your historical insights that makes little sense. As if all the players that won titles in the past were great players.
Fowler too, won't ever forget THAT hat-trick!
Thought kewell was brilliant while he was at Leeds. As soon as he joined Liverpool though....
As a Boro fan I should add Juninho
Gary Speed also he won a league title, but not a Premier League title.
Welshey,
Juninho was quality but wasn't there long enough. Same for klinsmann, kinkladze and mata
Might not make the final team but what about Darren Anderton, Jamie Redknapp, Dave Watson, Georgi Kinkladze
Soz just saw your Kinkladze comment mate
Jamie redknapp?
Speaking of redknapp, I was watching the fantasy football show on sky sports the other day and he was picking his best team. His CM consisted of....
Gerrard....
Gazza.....
And lampard.....
No scholes but lampard in? Unbelievable bias, should be ashamed to go on TV and speak such nonsense. Can't ever take that tool seriously
How Paul McShane isn't in here I'll never know.
In the Spurs 1961 team, there were a few players who were termed as average......................Les Allen, Terry Dyson & Peter Baker. But they were very solid players & complemented the stars of the team perfectly!
