ive never actually seen this guy play. ignorant yes i know. is he any good?
PSG is who he'll sign for.
But no announcement today.
The lower offer is Chelsea's (100% guess right there) and my gut feeling is that he will sign for PSG. Would rather we got him though to be honest. I would prefer him over Modric.
Agree with npe cannot see anything official coming out before monday and i think the same he will join psg as psg will offer more to palermo for his services because in footballing terms choosing psg over chelsea doesn't make sense!!
Essentially, noseblock 22, Pastore is a feckin mercenary.
^^^lol ..npe i would be a bit carefull while choosing such words for a potential signing(yes he could still be a chelsea player)....life is full of surprises so you never know we may still end up with him in our ranks!!
Cracking player, tends to drift in and out of games but unselfish and can finish when he needs to. Less of a risk than Neymar in my opinion although they are totally different in terms of style.
I wouldn't believe anything Italian chairmen say or the likes of Gazetta either but my natural pessimism says he's PSG bound.....
PSG bound methinks.
Messi allegedly has a billion euro release clause.
Perhaps we should talk to Roman about it,
btw i wonder if gourlay included pastore in the 2 imminent chelsea signings he mentioned a few days back!!

Ha ha, when Big Ron first joined I thought nobody could be worse than Kenyon, I'd actually prefer to be a hated club with him still on board..... Guarantee he'd be more proactive in transfer market.....
Don't assume it's as cut and dry as one club offered 40M/euros and the other offered 50M/euros, read the key word BETWEEN. If it were, then either one club would've been out of contention by now, or the club that offered the higher isn't of interest to Pastore.
I stand by what i said a few days ago, it's a similar situation Villas Boas found himself in. If Pastore bases his decision on his career ..... it's us. If he bases it on convenience and money, it's PSG. Neither would be right or wrong, it's just a case of what he wants.
Anyway, just checked the twittersphere. I know its not fully reliable. But 90% of the stuff from both punters and journos suggest he has gone to PSG. Very little contradiction.
Meanwhile, most sources on there say either Modric is evens with the bookies to stay, or make reference to Utd's interest in him.
We have failed.

You're begining to sound too negative for my liking.
Are you whatnext in disguise?
on another note if we do manage to sign him here is what to expect....all his senior professional club goals http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I50ZVlD_xvA
The United Modric interest looks media created to me; even the Scholes comments look like they've been said from a leading question. Adds a bit more spice for the papers to regurgitate a story that has gone on for a while now.

Am afraid it doesn't sound good, the three main papers in Italy are reporting the same thing. He seems to be PSG bound for 45million euros.Frankly, am not gutted if will failed to get him because of that amount.Sanchez went for 27 million reaching maximum of 39 million after add on, Fabregas will be going for 35 million pounds reportedly, davild silva for 25 million euros, and even Aguero went for 38 million pounds.Paying 45 million euros for Pastore is close to insanity and it is no surprise none of the big European giant were willing to negotiate for him.I strongly back Gourlay, and frankly any figure higher than 30 million pounds(including add on) for pastore is a rip off.

Nothing official but will be confirmed in the next few hours
Can we chase Hazard now then please?

It doesn't matter who we chase anymore, if the Club can't figure out when to spend big and when not to, then we'll keep on having problems to sign young promising players.
In my opinion, if the Club were able to pay £50M for Torres, who wasn't necessarily needed, why not 40-45 Million Euros for a player we genuinely need?
