think the League and FA cup winners have an impact on who qualifies.

Top 4 = Champions League
5th, FA Cup winners and League Cup winners = Europa.

If the FA Cup winners are already in either competition then the runners up get a place. If the r/u are also already qualified then the 6th placed PL team gain entry into the Europa Cup.
If the League Cup winners qualify through other means then the 6th placed team gains entry.
If the FA Cup finalists and League Cup winners all qualify through league positions then 7th place league team qualify.

There are three places in the UEFA Europa League available: the FA Cup winners will enter at the Group Stage; the fifth place team in the Barclays Premier League will enter at the Play-Off stage; and the Football League Cup winners will enter at the Q3 stage..................
