How about, wait till the end of the season to see if we fall flat without any new players? Then I might want Wenger out

No it fecking isn't!!
It's an article to gauge on what the fans truly feel about transfers. We've been going on about this window for ages, but will anyones opinion be swayed by what Wenger does or does not do in it?
I will probably get drunk and sleep in an alleyway with only the heat from my own urine to keep me warm.
But that is also what I will do if we sign anyone.
hey guys, is diaby fit for tonight?

Diaby is always fit, why the question?
Diaby is fit and ready to own the Liverpool midfield.
Then he can rest for 5 months.
ffs, well he overran us at anfield why did he have to become fit just in time for us
You were just unlucky to play us during the transfer window. Diaby is only fit during that time, just so that Wenger will not sign a replacement.
I will be annoyed but this squad has the ability to reach top 4.

We will not be signing anyone, its been almost completely ruled out by Wenger, and the club announced their pricing 'freeze' yesterday as a buffer.. go figure. This is despite the fact that a new striker and defensive midfielder, in my opinion, would make the difference between finishing in the top four, or not. It implies the management are fully prepared to sacrifice this to avoid spending.
The fact that we are where we are despite being the lowest Net spenders of the premier league since 2008, the last time we really had a decent shot at the title, (Net spend during this time believed to be £-45 Million) makes you wonder exactly where we could have been if we'd decided we fancied competing.
For that reason alone, we need to change philosophy as soon as possible, that most likely requires a change in manager.
Unfortunately, with it being common knowledge that the board members have little interest in succss on the football field, they have no reason to be displeased with the manager, and ultimately it is their job to pick who manages the squad.
We have a direct conflict of interest, a manager should rightfully be judged on his success on the pitch, but football has changed so much that now money takes priority.
It's frustrating cos surely we've done SO well to get this and spending about £60m (a relatively tiny amount) could get us winning trophies again, making more money from revenue and increasing our worldwide profile
What if Serial was straight?
Then you would be single.
Wenger isnt signing anyone because he knows the rapture is nearly here
The upper echelons of this club do not care about winning, they care about maintaining the status quo with as little investment as possible.
That is the only conclusion I can possibly draw.
That does not absolve Wenger of responsbility, he is completely complicit in this stagnation of the club and the stagnation of his own ambitions, "4th is a trophy".
It is evident that the club’s hierarchy are content to plod along with the belief that once FFP kicks in the club will be in a healthier position than most; and will in turn reap the benefits of its frugality.
However they have not accounted for the fact that it could take five or even ten years for FFP to show its teeth, (if it ever does) and by that time we could be left behind the elite.
What is the point on having circa £80m in a bank account to use for a rainy day when it is currently pouring down.
Beggars belief
