"The White Pele" is a playmaker and capable of scoring good goals. He has served Posh well, and it will be sad to see him go. If the transfer completes, I hope he samples Premiership football with Palace. He's a Palace supporter, so his heart will be in the right place.
Check him out on youtube, you might be impressed.
"12:52 A quick update from BBC East Midlands Sport's Owen Phillips: "Peterborough United midfielder George Boyd is having a medical at Nottingham Forest." The 27-year-old had been linked with Crystal Palace, but it now looks like he is East Midlands bound..."
All should be revealed by midnight.
Signed for Forest Thorney in the last few minutes apparently
Nothing on the relevant BBC websites yet, but what do you think about that, Webbo?
I saw somewhere that he's gone to Forest.
One of our owners has gone on a Palace forum to say that some of the transfers and contracts asked for are ridiculous and we're not prepared to throw away money.
I wonder what impact this Zaha deal has had?
Hopefully you guys stay up regardless of where Boyd goes and if we don't get promoted I look forward to heading back to your ground
It has been said that Palace wanted to change the payment terms at the last minute.
How true that is I don't know.
Think he is off to Palace.
He isn't coming to us (NFFC) Our local sports reporter just confirmed it via twitter.
Good luck for the season!
Hope he's got a fast car...
Ooooops... We are being slagged off on sky sports by P'boro chairman
Something to do with his vision test, yet they still wanted to take him on loan.
Something in the Mail today suggesting all is not well with the Forest managers position,
Perhaps a case of watch this space.
Shocking way to treat a talented professional. Many apologies
Thanks MonThePalace.
22:58 and still nothing on the BBC website about George Boyd. Off to bed now for a read. Guess, I'll hear on Radio Cambridgeshire tomorrow morning that he's still a Posh player.
Just as well, perhaps, as WBA's playmaker George Thorne was nobbled playing against Everton yesterday and may not be fit to return to Posh on loan.
I have a strange feeling that Forest will at some time in the near future be seeking a new Manager.
There is more to this than meets the eye. (pun),
Liked the pun
How frustrating for George - hope he takes it out on Burnley tomorrow!
I have a feeling that he will recieve a very good reception, bless him.
