Their team against Oldham was about the same caliber, in terms of first team players, as ours against Brighton. We get a deserved victory vs. Brighton and Liverpool get embarrassed by Oldham.

We're at home, in good form in terms of our performances recently (especially going forward), have too much firepower for liverpool, and have the added incentive of STARTING a game decently after so much focus on us being poor starters.

Just about to make the same type of article Batmanu. Took the words straight out of my mouth.

There seems to be a lot of people here confident that we can turn up and win but that's not the case. Liverpool are quite similar to us this year. Also they got Johnson, Enrique and Reina back which is disappointing as they are massive difference from Wisdom, etc. Walcott and Pod might have a quite game and Johnson and Enrique are very good attackers. Also Lucas coming back has made their 3 midfield much better and more balanced compared to us and Gerrard in great form. Really worried

I'm hoping for a 2-1 sneak win but I wouldn't be surprised if Liverpool won 3-1.
