If there were actually someone decent/willing to replace Fat Spanish Waitor, I wouldn't be surprised if he's sacked tomorrow.

Furk it. I'll do it, True blue.
I really couldn't do any worse.

No worse off than we were this morning, no one's has moved up on our position ( ex Everton), so yeah no real damage.

Yeah Chaz, Benitez is a lucky man in that we've got away with it tonight but we won't always be so lucky.
In recent weeks we've dropped points against Southampton, QPR and now Reading. Its not good enough, we'll have far tougher fixtures to come.

Here's the unthinkable; what if RA gives him the job permanently?

Care to think the unthinkable?

posted on 30/1/13

Surely we wouldn't give him the job permanently.... SURELY!!!!

Di Matteo got sacked for much less than this crap. Can somebody please tell me how does this continue to be acceptable to the joke board we have and yet what Di Matteo did was so unacceptable?

I really just don't get it.

Agreed.

Chaz we are now at the point where we have just sacked too many people. I was always told that it was the fans that led the call for people getting the boot but I did not want Mourinho, Ancellotti or Di Matteo sacked but they apparently HAD to go and I cannot remember a large scale clammer for them to go at the games either.

I have no idea what we were doing when we got shot of RDM even though the signs were he had only a season at best eg stalling in naming him, contract duration etc.

But like you say mate, if RA is making comparisons then Raffa is gone by the morning !

What I forgot to add was....but for who?

posted on 30/1/13

He's got to be a dead man walking. Only positive to come out of it all is at least he won't get the job full-time. Unlike a lot of Chels I don't give a fack what Rafa did or didn't say about us at Liverpool, I just don't think that he is anywhere near good enough. It's just that with our chequered past who the fack else can we now get?

We already tin-tacked 'em all already

Great minds Chaz, I've just seen your comment.

Let's sign him up for another 3-year deal. Then we can pay him some compo.

We like paying compo

Summer I dont expect a victory anymore. It we win, its a bonus for me. I just dont have any faith in this squad at all, the manager I thought would whip us into shape, has not quite done that but I dont want to blame him too much. I blame the board for this 100% for leaving our squad stupidly short, loaning out 25 players like we're some kind of charity, leaving our main squad painfully short. The sacking of managers has come back to bite us on the backside and we've declined into a poor club now since 2010 imo. We move on to the next game

It's impossible to disagree with anything that you say there Mr. C. Pretty much nailed it on the head.

I have never understood why we seem to collect Footballers and a lot of them never seem to end up playing for us. They play against everyone else except us Then we sell em on at a knockdown price or worse still let them go (rather than try properly to keep them) and then apparently try to buy them back like Drogba last week (If a ragtop can be believed).

Our buying policy does seem a bit random, like pinning the tail on a donkey blindfolded.

posted on 30/1/13

Summer its this extreme switch in policy we've made and still expecting the same results. During 2003/2009? We bought the odd young player but mainly we bought players who were experienced enough to go into the 1st team and make an impact. Now all of a sudden we've stopped all that and bought youngsters and undeveloped players. Spent close to 150-200m on young players with the odd experienced player. These youngsters will take years to develop. Some may not even develop and make it at Chelsea. Also we're looking at a new manager now possibly in the summer. If it is Mourinho. He will want a big budget. I dont see him working with youngsters. So we're splashing out again. It just makes no sense sometimes what we're doing

posted on 30/1/13

Also youngsters do not develop if the management is changed every season. Its pathetic. Luckily we've loaned most of them out though so they wont get to experience our top class youth development programs

Agreed mate we don't do blending very well.

Plan A - Let's get some old hands in and be an experienced team to grab some quick silverware (which was nice) but then lets have Plan B which is to get rid of all these old geezers who admittedly can still do the bizzo, but the media tell us we need some young 'uns, so get a team full of young 'uns and then wonder why they can't cope when it comes on top and you need some old heads in there.

Mr C. I am just leaving work to go home and get some grub, so I will say good night to you and Chaz and we'll talk again soon mate.
