Do you think those three would give us enough of a push for play-offs LIW? Or do you think we would still be woefully short?
Where is the Burke rumor from? Would like him the most out the three, quality player.
Would have to be a change of tactic has well horsforth
I would have a heart attack....im not against the Warnock signing, what im against is the reported 3 year deal and what will happen to Aidy White
as for Burke....yes ****ing please
A lot of clubs in for Burke, fingers crossed on that one.
In terms of tactics, I think Morison would be more suited to our (poor) style of play. With the addition of Burke, we could see more quality balls into the box.
But yes, I agree, we need a fundamental change in mentality and style of play if we are to achieve anything this season.
Which looks unlikely.
Liw, I know you're not a big fan of Becchio. But do you rate Morison as being a beter striker? Had success at Millwall against Leeds on a few occasions as I recall.
Stephen Warnock might probably be another George McCartney style left back, so doesn't excite me too much.
Burke would be ok but not sure we'll get him.
Warnock would make us more solid, White is a bit of headless chicken.
Can't see us bagging Burke, would be good if we could though.
Be awesome if these 3 signings went through.
Not opposed to Warnock signing, as he's a decent player, but feel bad for Aidy White really. Being wasted.

Am not sure to be honest
I just think we haven't linked well upfront this season at all.

completely agree.

Liw, reckon the problem's been Becchio? Bird has certainly been banging on about just that since his return and the end of the McCormack/Keogh combination
Morison will push Ross onto wing/bench - but he may score important goals for us.
Burke is a long shot, but we may sneak it through, if not Forest could be his destination.
Warnock- one of the good things about this move is that it would restructure our defence. Peltier will move to CB alongside Lees, leaving much more balance for our back 6.

Byram-----Lees-------Pelts--------Warnock

If we can keep this back 6 playing for a number of games hopefully this will see us more settled, and there is a good mix of youth and experience there too.
Here's hoping.
Ross was at his best alongside Keogh....i was hoping we kept Keogh for that reason alone
Horsforth
Austin needs dropping. He's not with it at the moment.
sky sports now saying we are in talks over burke
