you're only gonna sign loan players. They were never going to pay cash for Boyd. it was a scam

It isn't the fact we haven't got Boyd. Its just how we have handled the bloody transfer!

Feel sorry for Mcleish and Boyd

False pretences. Doesn't bode well for the direction of the club.

Had a look at a player.
He's apparently failed his medical.
We haven't signed him.
Their owner is pîssed because he didn't get the money he wanted / needed. That's not our problem. Perhaps if he'd agreed to a price a couple of days ago, he'd still have time to try and flog him on elsewhere.
Why are people so quick have a go at our own owners?

Because he failed an eye test TLP when have you ever heard of that?

Should of gone to specsavers

If McLeish really wanted him, we'd have signed him.
If that's not the case, going to be an interesting few days between the owner & manager.

TLP.

It was cancelled roughly around 10ish. We then went back in and asked to take him on loan.

If he failed his medical, he failed his medical. So why are we asking to take him on loan!?

Genuinely not a happy Red tonight

So, the big signing today was Radi. Gutted we didn't get Boyd or Burke, but would rather have Radi for a few years instead.

From listening to the Peterborough chairman's diatribe on Sky and some insightful comments by Niall Quinn, the main long term problem will now be the fall out between Big Eck and our chairman...

I wonder what Billy and SO'D are thinking now?

Goach^^^^^^

Rather than spending a million on him only to find his degenerative eye condition means he'll be blind in one eye half way through his contract.....

So sign him till the end if the season on loan less risk!?

Devils advocate I know - but, really think we should wait to listen to what our owners have got to say, rather than listening to a mouthy owner of posh!!??

Take your head out of the sand. Your owner is exceedingly dodgy.

One eye^^^^^
Possibly! But wait to see what is said by them.

They can't reall get out I it, they clearly didn't want him otherwise why cancel at 10pm! He had been there for 12 hours by them! It is a smokescreen for something else that's for sure!

It will effect is trying to do business with other clubs now as well! Getting a bad reputation again!!

Not Mr Kipling then

I miss the days when you'd turn up on a Saturday and find out you signed some relatively unknown lad. He'd come on as a sub. We'd all cheer his name - trying to think up some dodgy song for him. And that was that. Simple.
I don't like transfer windows. We are just rubbish at them

We just don't do em

A wise move Igor. They only end in tears.

Looking forward to the emergency loan window next week with a view.......to signing them permanent, the quick way back to the big time
