Ambitious i know but hear me out. Sell Cahill for £12m and Boyata, buy N'Zogbia for £5m and Al Habsi, sell Taylor for whatever we can get and make a deal to release Klasnic, buy Anelka for £5m and loan Sturridge and Bridge. The rest we can spend on some teenagers for the future (i assume we have a small kitty before sales).

I'm not so confident of Cahill getting a decent price now Toure is going to be back in September.

Not to mention the sudden influx of available central defenders. Johnson, Dann, samba etc.

Still, that team looks very strong.

Aristodemus,

There is absolutely no way any of what you've said is feasible or possible.

Why would you wanna sign Bridge who is on 90k a week n 5 years past his best?

Why would Anelka take a huge paycut to rejoin us hen he is apart of the Chelsea first team?

Why release Klasnic when he I such a brilliant goalscorer? Guarantees goals.

Would we be able to sign/afford N'Zogbia with him wanting a move to a CL team?

I think you've outlined the great deals we could do, bit realistically none of that is gonna happen.

I think it is possible.

City paid a considerable amount of Bellamys wages last year. Robinson gives 110% but he isnt good enough, to many times he was exposed last season.
Chelsea are going to have a big change this summer, and i think Anelka's time is done. Would he get a better offer or opportunity to come back to where he was loved in the PL for one last contract?
Klasnic is lazy, reminds me of the mexican Borghetti, he could finish too but offers nothing else. As someone pointed out too he is on a big wage, something better spent elsewhere.
You think that a champions league club will come in for N'Zogbia? I dont.

I'm with Holden's Hairstylist. Those deals ain't gonna happen mate..

Which is a shame...

There is one reason none of these will happen, they are not young cheap exciting players who Coyle wants to sign.

Why on earth you would want Wayne Bridge at our club I do not understand, he has not played consistently well for year and in no way deserves to be paid 90k a week by us. City will have paid Bellamys wages because he wasn't in the premier league so his presence wouldn't affect them.

Anelka will wanna be playing CL football and will not want to take such a dramatic drop in teams. We were a stepping stone or him, he won't return.

And although Klasnic can be lazy, he is absolute class, his movement and passing is brilliant and it should be lauded the same as his finishing is. Coyle has admitted he has spoken to him about hi workrate, and against City it looked like he had taken his words in because Klasnic was the architect of everything when he came on and looked like an absolute class act.
