The first quarter-final would see May against Virus with the two friends contesting a close quarter-final with May edging through 2 – 1, disappointing for Virus who had a better team than May who again reaches the last four whilst Virus exits in the quarter-final for the second tournament in a row.
The next quarter-final saw Arsenal Dog face a frankly hopeless task against Bayern Munich SpursBoy and his tactics appeared to have worked for a while, but as normal SpursBoy found a way through and then polished him off winning 2 – 0. So SpursBoy progresses in the end, but not a bad effort by Dog, be proud!
The third quarter-final would see ex-champion against current champion with Junior taking on Voom. Junior was warned it would be a tough assignment and so he found out with Voom running out a 3 – 0 victor, so he progresses and I’m sure Junior will find this experience benefitting and come back stronger than ever.
The last quarter-final saw Kent v Comu for what seems like a regular occurrence in the tournaments now and another regular occurrence is Kent winning which he did again. Kent took the lead and Comu equalized before half-time, however Borussia Dortmund came through and grabbed Kent the win 3 – 1 to set up a match against Voom.
The first semi-final would see SpursBoy take on May in a Bayern Munich v Augsburg clash, surely this would be an easy assignment for SpursBoy? May ripped up the tournament foundations and secured an extra-time 2 – 1 victory against SpursBoy to prove that SpursBoy can be beaten with the best teams, brilliant performance by May; SpursBoy needs a period of reflection as his reputation is dwindling as new players begin to overthrow this once dominant force. Baring that In mind he could still probably destroy 90% of competitors.
The second semi-final would see Voom take on Kent, Voom has won each time these two have squared off, but not this time! Kent secured a brilliant 1 – 0 backs to the wall victory with lots of playing down the clock going on, is this fair? The debate goes on, but the fact is Kent is through to his fifth final and Voom loses his title and the chance of matching SpursBoy’s three in a row.
So a final that not many predicted, with May taking on Kent, this akin to Bradford v Swansea in the respect that May has a chit team. May would prove easy work for Kent really who ran out 3 – 0 to secure his first title in his fifth final. Commiserations to May, but the tournament belonged to one man only, Kent. This title has been a long time in the making and with nither Voom or SpursBoy making the final; the tournament landscape is changing once again!
See you all again next time as we celebrate the tournaments 1st anniversary!

These all look really good BT Do you watch the matches to be able to do reports or what?
My best tournament so far. I won my first game comfortably against Gooner. I was unlucky to lose to Comu as I gave it a real go until he scored from a corner in the 80th + min to get the win. In my match against Dog I earned a well earned point and in my last match I missed a lot of chances in the first half against Choice.
One thing I have learned is that there is no use sitting back and defending all game which I did in previous tournaments. Attack is the only way you can progress to the next round.
Also thanks Tyke for another wonderful tournament. Looking forward to the next one.
Great review tyke, you put a lot of effort into this but its much appreciated and you're right I will come back stronger than ever now I know the bar has been raised.
