Hopefully Arsenal will finish 2nd, Liverpool 3rd with Man City, Chelsea and Spurs all finishing around 8th, 9th and 10th. AND, in the Summer you sign someone decent you want, I don't know, Messi or something
Hopefully Spurs will be 3rd next season, Liverpool 4th with Chelsea and Arsenal languishing behind...

Ha! You never know, Spurs and Arsenal might finish 3rd and 4th with Chelsea in 5th.... Would be nice! Though it didn't work out too great last season....

Would be absolutely over the moon if we got 4th this season but dont think it would happen

I would love to see Chelsea fall out of the top 4, that would be amazing

I also think the bandwagon about Johnson's defending is ridiculous. His defending is top quality, yes he makes mistakes but so does everybody else. I feel his defending gets slated due to the fact that his attacking is so good.

TBH it is the biggest improvement in his game!

He was very suspect in his defence duties 2-3 seasons ago but those days are long gone
----------------------------
I think ever since he joined West Ham, his defending has been good and he has improved on it with experience, most notably with England.

Tottenham and Liverpool share the title while Man Utd get relegated and Evra is forced to sell 99er's on Blackpool sea front to make ends meet

Ahhh but will he have a problem selling choc ices? Or will they "sell out" without a problem?

The only thing wrong with Johnson's defending is his reaction time from a standing start, really. Things like tackling and covering have come on leaps and bounds over the years, but "Johnson can't defend" is a narrative that'll probably never go away, as if every other attacking full-back in the world defends like Baresi.

Have to say, there are differing stories about the Sturridge exit, some believe the club (well, Hughes) was more at fault.

I thought he was excellent yesterday. I don't think we helped though by closing down Suarez quickly - although he was pretty much nullified, it gave Sturridge more space.

That's exactly what it's meant to do

If Defoe is out for a long time (It looks that way from what the media are reporting) and Ade comes back his lazy self, then I think you might struggle to pick up wins and a lot of your games will end in draws. You definitely need to buy a very good striker in the summer.

I don't really understand why you didn't try and bring Berbatov back in the summer, as he would have been great for you guys as a stop gap.

I still think you are short on the LB area, as I really don't see the hype around BAE.

As for us, a replacement for Downing (as good as he has been recently).

A back up DM and LB. Perhaps older players who would not be too bothered being benched.

Probably a new keeper (and backup) as Reina's heart does not seem to be in it anymore and Jones is well, Jones.

A new Carra to replace Skrtel (maybe Kelly can step up to that role as he is more like Jamie than any of the others).

The Jury is still out on Borini for me. Yes he has been injured and that has not helped him to settle in, but, every time I see him, I am not convinced he is going to score enough. I hope that will change.

Now Henderson is showing what he can do when played in the middle, we do not need anymore central players (bar the new DM).

Other than the 4/5 players needed, we have enough young talent coming though to see us OK in the next few years.

I think within the next 3/4 years the top of the table will be much closer than it is now.

I think Spurs need a top class centre half to partner Vertonghen, a top striker, and another wide player to compete with Lennon and Bale. You should finish top 4 this season, though you do have tough games while Arsenal don't. I think you will need to beat Arsenal at WHL. That game could be decisive.

They also need to win something as this improves the mentality of the group. The longer without winning something, the harder it becomes. You should have a fair chance in the Europa League as AVB has proved he can manage in Europe.

We (Liverpool), are improving nicely, can get 6th this season and with a few tweaks can proper challenge top 4 next season.

Righteous, we have a top class centre back already mate to partner Vertonghen......his name is Kaboul, shame he has been injured all season ....he's back soon though.

4th is most definitely spurs' to lose. if 'arry was still manager think he would open his big mouth. i remember after spurs lost at home to man united 'arry saying "i'd rather be in our position than arsenal's" then ultimately lost it. think AVB is too smart to do the same

Hmm, I am not convinced of Kaboul's top class stature, but I know he was good last season.

i dont spurs fans .......the sheer necks on some of them is unreal and they are happy to put the boot in to us at any occasion.....

as far as liverpool goes.....yea i started off not really warming to brendan rodgers ...but in the last couple of months i can really see something in this current team.....that in a few years time might really turn into something .......but im a patient git and i want success now...

and god fowler.....fabio borini is a strange one ......that injury really knocked his progress sideways.....so its jury out for now , but he just needs a good solid run of games which i dont think he might get ..
