Walcott has 18 goals but I don't see anybody comparing him to Suarez.
---

Maybe because he isn't as talented? Suarez and van Persie on the other hand are both very talented players and both have similar statistics this season, so again I ask, why can you not compare them?

"They have similar goal tallies this season, so why can you not compare them?"

Cause he's nowhere near his talent. Weren't you advocating that a few moments ago?

I was jokingly using stats earlier. But I was under impression you were against that.

"Suarez has 22 goals 8 assists this season for a slightly above average Liverpool team, he can dribble, score goals, he's agile, he's strong and he makes intelligent runs. He works hard every single game and he reaps the benefits. He was very wasteful last season, but his talent was clear."

His dribbling is the only thing that's exceptional about him, really.
In other words, he's a poor man's Aguero.

If you all could chose between Poldi and Suarez who do you want at your club (be honest)?

No, I don't think so. I think he'll develop into one of those players always on the cusp of the world-class bracket but never make it. I do feel he should be given more of a chance up-front though as due to his clinical finishing he would score a massive amount of goals.

Suarez is class you gotta be blind not to acknowledge his talent. Insane player.

Suarez is not as talented as RVP so it is a pointless comparison.

I don't understand how somebody who has watched RVP at Arsenal for 8 years can not see how considerably more talented than Suarez he is.

i would never ever want suarez at arsenal. never.

GT, definitely Suarez...

What does Suarez have over RVP? He is quicker and a better dribbler. That is it. I can't think of a single thing he excels in ahead of RVP apart from pace and dribbling.

Statistics show how productive players are, even though they may not reflect how good or bad a player is. Both Suarez and van Persie have been very productive for each of their teams but aside from statistics, they have shown their other qualities on the football pitch.

Perhaps you don't think Suarez is very talented, but I do.

So that means you would Poldi over Suarez, Rev right?

This is a joke. Suarez is nothing special, technically.
Plays the sh'ittest football out there.

Batmanu, Samir, Dubbed, please answer my question.

yes GT.

Suarez, a con artist on the field with his diving and cheating, and a con artist off the field, manipulating people into thinking he is something special.

Are you on the wum it just stupid?! Look at his goal vs Newcastle if that's not technical ability I don't know what is.

''I don't understand how somebody who has watched RVP at Arsenal for 8 years can not see how considerably more talented than Suarez he is.''

'Considerably more'? Jesus, it's not as if we're comparing van Persie and Bent here. Van Persie is the more talented player, yes, I haven't disputed that, although I still don't see why you can't compare them. But what I am disputing is Dubbed's claim that Suarez is 'nothing special', which clearly isn't true.

I would have suarez over Pod if Wenger could get him to calm down!

posted on 4/2/13

Batmoanu, you would chose Suarez over Poldi then?

Seriously Dubbed, you don't do yourself any favours with comments like this.

Yea I would have Suarez over Podolski or anybody else in our team because he is better than all our players but he isn't a patch on RVP.

@ V to Van Persie (U7971)

I do think that most would chose Suarez over Pod. So when you say Poldi is world class or could get world class the same attribute goes for Suarez then.

@barcastuff: Lionel Messi has completed 21 nutmegs this season, 2nd best in top 5 leagues. Liverpool's Luis Suarez has 36. [via @suarezstats @messistats]

I would chose Suarez all day long over Poldi too
