2-1 seems realistic I suppose. The Southampton has always been tough place to go. Although, if (and it's a big if) we turn it on we should win comfortably, as Soton are a team that like to play football (unlike the likes of Stoke). What with it being at your place I don't think your manager will set out defensively - not that I'm suggesting he would if it was at the Etihad - I just know nothing about him.

THE Southampton

Am coming down for the game, really looking forward to it, will be 2 teams trying to play football the right way (not like when we go to Stoke). Hopeful we will get the 3 points but not too confident. Could you advise where the away fans normally go for a drink beforehand, we are a friendly lot but like a drink and to sing a lot.

few pubs in soton allow away fans in, but the King Alfred does, its just outside the ground. Bout 10-15 mins from the train station.

Are you on the coach or train, BB? We always stop somewhere just outside if on the coach, or a couple of stops before if on the train. No police mithering you that way.

This is a must win game for city. However only if we are willing to fight for every ball. This just did not happen against Liverpool.

Think the week link in the Liverpool game was Garcia. Hopefully Yaya will replace him, Barry and Milner worked tirelessly in there, Silva was strangely quiet and ineffective, and for me Garcia just doesn't cut it for me at the moment I'm afraid.

If anyone was the weak link in that game it was Silva.
Garcia was effective accept for one (admittedly fatal) mistake in failing to clear the ball.

However he was dangerous from set pieces throughout the game, won plenty of tackles, and rarely gave the ball away x

Agree re Silva but his problem is without Yaya who is going to supply those quick passes to him, Garcia's passes were normally sideways, Yaya tries hard to find Silva.

I think Garcia is finding his feet in the PL and has improved game by game. He gets too much criticism and unfairly in my opinion, we signed a couple of players that did not hit the ground running but went on to become key players for us VK for example.
