Agree entirely.

It's ADKINS. And why on earth would Di Matteo join Forest? At least suggest some realistic options.

How do you know it is Adkins?

i just pray that it wont be Mark Hughes, or Roy Keane

SBS - as excited as a kid on Christmas eve!

After 5 seconds of relief after I heard the announcement, I'm now racked with anguish at the likelihood of us making yet another mess up.

Please - NO NO NO to Keane (either of them, however they might be spelt), Hughes, Billy (sorry SBS)

YES! to any of these desirable but unlikely candidates IF they would come - Adkins, Di Matteo, Pearce

If they won't, let's steady the ship with Pemberton and get to a situation where we can think rationally instead of rushing to a poor choice.

Just to finish off a truly bonkers season, lets have Paulo Di Canio he's possibly the only man mad enough to want the job and at the very least we would have the most entertaining press conferences since Cloughie.

Caniggiaforforest - Cool your jets mate! It's just a typo.

At least suggest some realistic options? This is a forum. A concept where we can air our views, opinions, hopes and disappointment.

We are Forest together my friend. No need for snipey comments.

Hopes and disappointment - well, we're well qualified to comment on those subjects!

I don't really agree that we've got a better squad than Billy ever had. Billy had wide players, class left backs on loan, a decent centre back pairing in an in-form Chambers and Wes the rock, a class right back in Gunter, and a keeper with experience. He also had mckenna who was a work horse at the time. Cohen, Radi, Mcgugan, Dex, are all still among our potentially better players, and were all here then. Sharp and Pep are the only players that add something major since Billy's time. So tell me, how is it a better squad? In any way?

because we had to resort to the Dele Adebolas of this world thats why. The players only played out of there skin because of Billys motivation, ang god knows thats what we need now

Dutch,

That's not a typo it's a spelling mistake. I'm just pointing it out as everyone seems to be getting it wrong.

I'm quite aware this is a forum thanks. But it's a waste of time suggesting options like Di Matteo as it's not going to happen. You may as well suggest Mourinho or Ancelotti.

Billy Davies is a possibility so it seems sensible to debate his appointment. Adkins is a slim possibiltiy but I think it's very unlikely. Ex-Forest players like Kean and Pearce are possibilities. I can't see Pearce taking it but Kean would be keen! Although hopefully Fawaz won't go there.

not our new manager... just Caniggia's spello

Beat me to it Webbo!! Twice! Now is that a spelling mistake or a typo due knowing how its actually spelt but just typing too quickly?!

Love ya Caniggia. Give us a smile sweet cheeks!

Can I out my name forward as a possibility? I'm pretty confident I would spell it right.

That was a mistake, mixing it up with Steve Kean.

It still doesn't excuse the Di Matteo comment!
