Each sporting body with-in Australia are shitttting themselves to find out if they have been implicated in this breaking news by the crime commission.....some sleepless nights ahead for both individual cheating grubs and CEO's having to let their supporters and sponsors know everything.....

Not unsuprising, looking at some of the aussie rules players.. Some of them are phyiscal beasts..takes more than training sometimes to get into that shape.

This could have a global impact as many countries use Aussies sport sceintists, facilities and methods. This could be Lance Armstrong mangintued to a whole new level.

I`v suspected for some time that the Aussie cricket team have been taking hormones, they all have girly hair, play like women and Shane Watson has boobies.....

Once a convict always a convict.

It certainly takes the shine off what is normally hard fought contests with the Aussies. I don't think it's any of the cricketers, I don't see how you get much benefit from that sort of thing in this sport.

However, the Aussie Rules and NRL boys may be under some very close scrutiny. so much for the drug testing programme then...

so when you say australian sports do mean to say cricketers as well?

Neon probably makes up 70% of the obese figures often quoted then. It’s a good job he doesn’t live in Asia or Africa

Neon, it sounds like you will probably qualify for an Gastric band from the NHS – all paid for by the taxpayers of course!!

the good thing about cricket is players cannot take performance enhancing drugs, as I think they have to go through dope tests quite regularly. Its just the match fixing thing that needs to stop

So rabbit are you going to quit watching the sport from now on or find a different country to support? I mean who could really support a country where all the sports, at all the levels are corrupt or should I say 'officially corrupt'. DISGRACE!

It's damaging. It's widespread. Plenty of black money is being made across the board in austraila by the looks of it. Corruption, deception and cheating at its very very highest.

It's not just an Australian issue, but a sport issue worldwide, from various countries to different sports. For instance, Lance Armstrong now, the Pakistani Cricket team, that Juventus/Itallian teams, certain drug cheats who were allowed to compete in the Olympics, i.e. Dwayne Chambers, the hundreds of matches fixed in European Football, allegations of FIFA/UEFA officals taking bribes during WC hosting or this Australian saga now . But, the biggest shame of it all is all of this is in every sport, it's just quite a lot of people have not been caught out yet. And, thankfully quite a lot of people are getting found out now, but there is still a lot, and I mean a lot more to find.

Whether it's fixing, drugs or anything else as hard as it is to digest for me, I truly believe every sport has something dodgy or fishy about it. Whether it's players taking drugs, individuals fixing, those higher up demanding this to be done or people getting jobs in higher roles within sport via bribes, It's just a matter of people investigating and catching these people out. And, I'm going to be studying sports Journalism soon. I May decide to be that journalist who tracks cheats in sports. Maybe. But, in all honesty I believe all this cheating in whatever form and whatever sport will never be eradicated.
