Larsson will be snapped up by a Premier League club, most likely Villa. The only other one I'd take would be Reo-Coker, but again I suspect there'll be one or two clubs lower down the Prem who will be interested and his wages are probably a bit much anyway. All of the others are either past it or never had it in the first place.
Out of that list, I'd probably take
LEE BOWYER (Experienced player who knows how to get out of this league)
SEB LARSSON (Good winger who can deliver a final ball -expect him to move to the Prem though)
MARTIN JIRANEK (OK, I've only seen him properly in the Carling Cup final but he was very impressive that day and looked exactly the type of player we need; no nonsense, hard as nails)
JOHN CAREW (A good striker who can bring others into the game and never gives defenders an easy ride - would be more effective with a partner though - would expect him to go to a Prem team or abroad though)
NIGEL REO-COKER (We are crying out for someone like him who can break up the play, play it simple and make sure we win those midfield battles - again would be surprised if he didn't get a Prem club)
Didn't Maik Taylor use to be considered a very fine goalie? I haven't seen much of him in the last season or so, but I think BCFC's problem has been not scoring rather than shipping too many.
For the rest, and first of all, NOT PIRES.
Bowyer, Carew and Reo-Coker, yes if we could get them. Which I doubt.
PS JA606 won't let me say "d*mn", as in "d*mn good goalie". Rather old maid-ish, Administrator guys?
Birmingham had one of the best defences in the league last season. That was mainly down to Ben Foster.
Maik Taylor is an experienced and steady goalkeeper.
Better than Weale and Ricardo, but I would much rather we looked at Kieran Westwood and Kasper *surname I can't spell, but he plays for Leeds*
