Hugo

Parker seemed to take responsibility for the MF today, some clever play too.

Totally agree. Parker is one of those really annoying players to play against. Always seem to be nipping at your heels.

Well played Scott, maybe he is getting match fit again

bale > messi and ronaldo

Parker is a very intelligent player. When we were chasing the win he tried to make things happen, then when we were 2-1 up he dropped deeper and his reading of the game was brilliant. He stopped potentially dangerous attacks before they became a problem.

I know it's like Liverpool fans to get overexcited about not much , but Bales not quite at that level

...........yet.

agree 60's had a good game...especially the dirty wrk...but as a team...our passing was terrible...

started off bright...let them back in...and tbh...another game were if bale didn't do it...we'd have dropped points.

Parker was only OK, he runs around a lot, but his forward movement and passing forward is still very, very poor.

Parker worked hard today as he always does but IMO his days are numbered and if Sandro was fit he would not be getting a look in.

Nobody can fault his workrate but he does not look good on the ball and his passing is quite poor. Having said that he was a hell of a lot better than Dembele today

you mean dempele

I have to agree with Grandspur, Sandro would be a shoe in, and Parker would probably be benched. Nevertheless, it looks like Parker is going to have to play from now until May.

If only Parker was able to shoot, dribble, had a killer pass in him and was quicker to see it, we would have the complete CM player.

That said, he is vital as a defensive midfield player, somebody has to do the work he gets through.

It's crazy how under appreciated Dembele is...

Today he was poor

However good Parker has been, I think Sandro allows Dembele to function a lot better.

Parker impressed today, defending and joining in further up the pitch, but Dembele seems less of an influence when he does.

I doubt anyone under appreciates Dembele. In fact, he's been shown a lot of respect by most Spurs fans. But Dembele has been been a little sloppy in our last few games, today included, so it's only fair to praise Scott for picking up the pieces in midfield.

I think Parker does his job very well in CM. He's a defensive player so he does his bit in tidying up when required. He may not have a killer pass but as long as he continues playing solid then I'm happy

Dembele didn't do as much as Parker today, be he didn't make as many mistakes as Parker, either. Parker cost us momentum in several moves, hit a whole stream of useless, lofted forward passes to Dempsey and got in the way of a few tight passing moves.

Holtby and Dembele were the players finding space today, whereas Parker seems to make the play close in around him.

Dembele was the one giving the ball away cheaply even his injury came from him having to win a ball back that he casually gave away

Parker gave the ball away more
