i want a 12 point lead, the boost it would give the players going to madrid would be immense
No way will that be the team. DarkPheonix had one on another thread:
-----------Lindegaard
Jones--Smalling--Evans--Buttner
Valencia--Giggs--Anderson--Young
-------------Wellbeck--Hernandez
I think it will be more or less that.
My comment from a previous thread.
Team for Everton
-----------Lindegaard
Jones--Smalling--Evans--Buttner
Valencia--Giggs--Anderson--Young
---------Wellbeck--Hernandez
This is pretty much the B team of our squad. In all honesty, it should at least get a draw from Everton at home. I'm sure some of the players due to play against Madrid will play too.
then we are getting rapeed
Thanks bloodred for quoting me
I think SAF should forget about Real Madrid and focus on extending United's lead at the summit in light of City's defeat to Southampton. He ought to play the best team possible; here's mine below..
.........................................................
I was thinking the opposite, play a mix of 2nd team and 1st team and if its not looking good bring on the big guns with 30mins left. Being successful is using the squad. I won't mind if we play a sort of 2nd team tommorow with strong bench. Its not arrogance but the fact we play real madrid soon after and you never know everton may get a player sent off early and we could coast to it or risk playing our 1st team and it going wrong.
if that is the team tomorrow then it will be squeaky bum time! After what happened in this fixture last season and what impact it had on the title race, we can't afford to make so many changes.
I think Chico only got back last night for the internationals... Don't see him playing.
Rooney is on a hot streak and will play, sure of it.
Maybe:
DDG
Rafael, Smalling, Vidic, Evra
Nani, Ando, Carrick, Kagawa
Rooney, Welbz
Actually, Carrick being "injured" during midweek probably means he will play.
I would like to see:
De Gea
Jones Smallibg Evans Evra
Nani Anderson Cleverly Giggs
Rooney Welbeck
Gave to play the strongest side as everton are too good for the fringe players. Why not just go for it ffs, hate the rollocks excuse that players can't play 2 games in 4 days!! These are the games they want to play in
Giggs & Scholes
I would like to be saying a similar thing, but Sir Alex has already openly announced he's going to pretty much field two different teams. It goes without saying the first team will be against Madrid, so it will be the B team against Everton.
We'll probably go for something like:-
Howard
Neville Jagielka Distan Baines
Mirallas Gibson Osman Pienaar
Fellaini
Anichebe
Dunc, is Fellaini definitely fit for you guys? Heard he was a doubt earlier this week.
Moyes says he should be ok to play
big dync seeing howard neville gibson there reminded me of man utd team
Everton always love a battle especially against the top teams. I just hope man utd if they are leading don't go gung ho. Amazing evra shot was so close to going 5-2 and 2 minutes later it was 4-4. It was like the 3-3 raw art goodison 2 years ago everton seem to know how to do us at the end as they are always at it all game.
All 3 have done well in an Everton shirt to be fair
I really dont see rooney playing maybe even RvP with Madrid coming up i think having rooney play 3 games in 8 days might be too much
Go for it! Finish off Mancinis boys now... git it done... work the rest out later.
Long gap after the Madrid game...the lads can get a rest and recoup then!
Rafael--Smalling Evans Evra
--------Carrick Anderson
--Welbeck Kagawa Giggs
-----------Hernandez
Rooney should play - he's in form and getting sharper. Give him an hour or so to see what he can do.
Fergie needs to get a solid centre back pairing going again. Vidic plus one other. Vidic will obviously play against Madrid... If he up to two games in a few days yet? Not sure, but you'd think we'd need him against the threat of Everton in the air.
Nani should play, to help get him up to speed some more, and Anderson too. Could maybe bench RvP, and give Welbeck a run upfront for a change.
I expect Jones to play mid-week so rested tomorrow, but he would be a good option in the middle to help handle Fellaini.
I'd go something like this:
DDG
Rafa Smalling Vidic Evra
Nani Carrick Anderson Kagawa*
Rooney Welbeck.
*If Young is fit, play him instad and save Kagawa for Wed.
---------------------Howard
Oviedo -- Jagielka -- Distan -- Baines
Mirallas -- Gibson -- Osman -- Pienaar
-------------------- Fellaini
------------------ Anichebe
would go with Brian at right back he looked good there against villa
A strong team is a must after today. It is vital that United take full advantage of City's slip ups.
I want the PL title back far more than the CL.
