Fair enough, we all have different tastes. Some people think football fans are simpletons as well.

Wrestling is fun and very amusing. It's a tv show with violence.

If you are also into body building etc, a lot of them have great tips they provide for free as well.

Went to TNA when I was 30. Got drunk, met a surprising amount of girls. Understand if it's not your thing but no need to sound like a bit of a bell about it

i like brock he was great for ufc, but his body couldn't take it.

I know wresting takes great skill and agility and showmanship, but in mma the guys want to destroy you, if you've had an operation on your stomach, then they'll go for the stomach!

Who? Is this a new player United are signing? What position does he play?

Agreed, totally different ball game. It's amazing how the wrestlers are so conscious of not wanting to hurt each other whilst throwing themselves around.

Ah yeah. Amazed people would bet on such things. You'd think it would get leaked all the time.

The soaps often film 3 or 4 endings so even the cast don't know the proper story line.

The actings amazing though. Apart from the athletic things they do, its quite an art form to do what they actually do.

Fiction or not, when they jump from great heights and fake elbow each other, or slam each other from the cage-top, whether fake or not it still has to be done.

As someone who doesn't like heights, I think it is very admirable/fearless.

Like Macho Man's proposal to Elizabeth. You'd he hard pushed to find a more heartfelt and emotional proposal anywhere on TV.

If you ever get chance watch Beyond the Mat and listen to Mick Foley after his fall from the cage. Nothing fake about that one.

I'm with MuDD here. Been a wrestling fan since I was a kid and now I know about all the behind the scenes stuff I love it and respect it more.

It's good fun and the athletes should be respected. It's a year round thing and the guys go through a lot and kill their bodies just to entertain people.

Plus to get on live TV every week and not just look good but be able to do promos to the millions watching takes a lot of skill.

anyone questioning wrestling as totally fake then just forward to the 50 sec mark on this vid.

sure its predetermined, but these guys put there bodies through hell at times.

Rob theres a PPV called extreme rules and last time I seen Lesnar pummel Cena, was that real? I mean you cant make up a man elbowing you to the face, his head was gushing blood!

lesnar is what is known as "stiff" which basically means his "fake punches" would hurt like feck.

Christ I'm welling up now just thinking about Macho Man down on his knee, struggling to find the words to express his love to Elizabeth.

Do you watch much of UFC?

Well, it was scripted and it wasn't 'real' but sometimes wrestlers have 'stiffer' fights where the contact is a bit harder just to make it look more legit.

But as for the blood the wrestlers do this thing called 'blading' where they just cut themselves above the eyebrow and bleed out but it's easy to stitch up after the match.

I think everyone remembers that Randy Savage/Elizabeth marriage.

Glory days... back in the summer that we won the CWC!

used to when i had ESPN.

over the last few years its basically become a lot more boring in my opinion, guys of the same weight dancing around for 30 secs before throwing a punch.

if you go back to the earlier PPV's it was basically open weight, so you got to see some right batterings

Share the love guys. What an amazing piece of theatre from Macho Man. A supreme athlete and an even better actor.
