Thots. My 'thots' are that you are a poor wum who can't spell.
Am I missing something?
Has it been made official by PSG and Palermo, about the signing of Pastore?
PSG have more history cant blame the lad for choosing them
Betamax boy (U1181)
We have 65 years more history than them
Our problem isn't the appeal of the club, we're still regarded as one of the top 5 five teams in the world. It's that we never hammer down a target because we're to busy tryna get trival reductions ..... the only reason we were willing to match Pool's asking price for Torres is because he's a walking promotion machine. I'm sure if a rival came calling for David Luiz in the eleventh hour we'd have lost him over a couple of million aswell.
In the case of Pastore i'm not to down-hearted given it's conclusion. No doubt he'd have been a valuable asset but he'd needed to have become the figurehead of our midfield instantly to warrant that 37.5M+ ..... but we'll get a player of his creative capabilities before the window shut, i'm sure of that.
Can someone please provide a source of his official signing, because I'm still not believing all these different conflicting stories, till I see something official.

I think we're doing it right. Remember Robinho? Madrid wanted the extra 5m and we refused. Similar thing happened with Neymar and Aguero last year, and now Pastore. Palermo have been really intelligent with their public auction of the player but Chelsea decided that they would not pay a cent more than 40m € so they lost out. And for all those saying it's just 2.5m € more, had Chelsea upped their offer, PSG would have trumped it so I think they did the intelligent thing. I'd prefer us getting a couple of wingers anyway.

lol...........red indian is out from his cave!
OP you have it wrong. Its not about us failing to attract the player its about us no being able to or wanting to try and outbid the Arabs.
Exactly, if we try and outbid the Arabs there is only going to be one winner, plus it isn't advisory. It would soon get to the stage where £100m + is being bid for a player thus making a player more valuable than most Championship and a lot of PL clubs
Haha. what did red muppet say this time? i think I speak for pretty much all of ja 606 and probably all of mankind when I say he should go play with some traffic.
That`s what worries me. we do not seem to have much clout or financial muscle to compete in the transfer market.i know there are excellent players out there that can be bought on the cheap if our scouts do their job better but we seem to to have lost out on possible marquee signings that would have given us that extra edge
AVB........
I have yet to see us buy a player for more than 30m that has been any good for us!
Marquee signings are often not what they are cracked up to be.
Mr Chelsea..
It is more painful for him if he comes and plays with us
