Blimey, what...?
Successful...?
That'll throw our board of cheerfulness into turmoil....!!!
Pity we ain't a bank really
GFH might not be a bad thing for Leeds United.
It's an investment bank, which means they will be looking to make a profit from Leeds. What that does mean is they will invest, then sell when the club is worth more than what they paid. That's why these rumours about them selling are going around, but I don't think they'll sell yet. What would be the point in that, how much can they really make from what they paid 2 months ago? If they get the club to the Premier League, they can sell for a lot more than they paid. That'll be their aim IMO.
They won't bank roll us and won't be here for the long term, but it means Bates is out and will no longer be a hindrance to selling the club. A takeover would be relatively straight forward now compared to Bates, who clearly is a terrible person to deal with.
GFH will either try and sell quickly now and make a small profit, or get investments/investors to get the club to the Prem and then sell. No problem with that.

So what happened when they made huge losses
Got it abit wrong there
The award is for turning things around in a very bad market I think.
Anyway - according to Mr Castles Adam Pearson is going to 'rescue' us from the big bad GFH:
Following
Duncan Castles
@DuncanCastles
Can confirm that Adam Pearson is fronting a multi-faceted consortium's bid to rescue Leeds United from GFH.

What is castle agenda
LIW - I don't know but like you I think he has one and has something against GFH.
Maybe Jonty knows as he seems to be a mate of Duncan's.
.. but 'rescue' is a very emotive word. Do we really need rescuing from GFH?
I don't have an agenda
I just don't like chancers who dont give a fook about my club.
Obviously you do
I expected GFH to be around for 12-18 months, it would be a surprise if they off loaded us this early.
Look North stated there had been 'offers' on the table, the Yorkshire Consortium just being one of them.
Prepare ourselves for another soap opera.
I wonder whether the company currently claiming ownership of Leeds United were a company friendly to Parkin / Pearson and their consortium etc, bearing in mind Bates has previous history with one or more, certainly Parkin I believe.
Maybe it's all been a big con on Bates...?
He might have been out gunned by someone...?
GFH could have been all part of a plan.
Not saying it is right, but it would be funny.
One rumour circulating is that Pearson was behind FGH all along & has agreed in principle to have first refusal in buying the club & shafting his mate Bates in the process.
Now that would be funny.
LIW - I didn't mean you had an agenda - I meant that I agree with you that Castles has one.
Sorry badly worded I think.
