Yeah, let's boo Chris Eagles for the ticketing system not working properly. I should have booed him for my train being late meaning I missed the first 20 minutes of the Everton game, Boooooooooooooooooooooooo!
My system at work wasn't working this morning. Now I know who to blame. Booooooo Eagles. I'm going to have to send him a strongly worded letter.
Seriously though Normid norm you waited till half 2 to get your ticket?
Thanks For comments gents - and i do invite all to comment even if you disagree, and thats what a forum is about.
a few have highlighted how i said "Bolton fans" are a disgrace, and not "some".
i prefer to see us all as a collective, and ultimately all want the same things. The burnley fans wherent sat there thinking, christ, Row S seat 156 in the north stands not too happy! No they think Bolton Fans are an embarrasment. Which in my opinion it was.
It has come to the point for me, where I would rather have an "away" season ticket. Away games are much better fans seem more knowledgeable and supportive etc. The last time i truly remember a great atmosphere at the breezblock was either Arsenal 2-1 after Stoke, or Atletico Madrid. Admittedly the atmosphere was a direct result of the goings on on the field.
I seriously dont buy the "i pay my money so i do what i like" jibes.
You dont not enjoy a meal at a restaurant and go screaming and shouting at the chef. You may quietly complain and perhaps not go again. As one commenter said, 5000 supportive fans is better than 20k of "i deserve this coz ive paid" types.
I also believe there is such a short sighted approach and expectation from some fans, people say eagles has been poor since November. Fair enough, he may have been, but it seems mightily convenient to ignore Aug, sept, and october where he was ripping teams apart on his own. Im not an Eagles fan, not becuase hes eagles, or hes ex Man U etc. im not a big fan of "Luxury" players in general. Hes a player who should be best utilised as a luxury and not relied on as a workhorse, and any manager who does rely on that, frankly is an idiot. But to cheer his substitution was downright awful to hear. Simply because, whilst he was shower those flashes of briliance he has in his locker, his work rate was 100% to compensate.....out of his character, but for the good of the team. Dougie decided later on that he needed to change the system so took him off, and it worked, we won. Yet we won with a bitter taste in our mouths. Where has our expectation levels come from. We are the first to "sl4g of liverpool or Newcastle fans when we believe they believe they have a divine right to be at the top.
Basically the ultimate point is, if you dont like it stay at home or do something to help the issue.
Booing isnt it.....FACT

The point I have tried to make, and I think a couple of other people too, is how do you express dissatisfaction in the ground? In a restaurant you have the option to see the chef or the manager. What would be the chances of getting Freedman over to your seat to voice your concerns?
Booing, for me at least, is a last resort. And until there is another way to get your point across it will always go on in football grounds and not just the Reebok.
I don't usually get annoyed by anything on here, but I will always take offence when I'm told to "stay at home". I used to go to Burnden when 5000 was a good attendance and I'll still be going if they drop down to that kind of number again.
Do what you want at full time, but I'm not sure it does any good during the game.
There's one helmet in front of me in the NSL who seems to turn up just to abuse Chris Eagles. If he got a hat trick, it'd be "(words censored), WHY HAVEN'T YOU SCORED FOUR"

I guess the place to vent frustrations is to friends, on forums and the like. Write a letter if you like. Is your opinion so very important that you must actually hurt the teams confidence to get it out immediately?
Look, everybody is not happy with how things have gone, but do we want to actively try and make it worse? That is exactly what booing during games is doing.
Personally I don't like some players, however, I would never cheer someone being substituted or boo when they touch the ball, it is just stupid. They are trying, especially Eagles.
