probably Lescott, we haven't had a competent defender at the club for quite some time.
Denis Irwin, not a patch on wardhinio but i'd give him a go
Someone who scores goals. Steve someone!
I was just thinking Irwin for the problem position as well.
Dean Richards RIP would sort out the defence as well
Greg Halford.............it all started when he left for a bigger club
good thread by the way
so i'd go for Steven George Bull MBE
Forgot Irwin.
Wow, its almost like someone defecated all over the left back position out of spite for Ireland and Wolves since he left.
Someone who can inspire other players - and none better than Mike Bailey.
One that younger fans would remember - Dean Richards.
For me, Paul Ince. Midfield general who covers the defence and can even score the odd goal.
Second would be Irwin, 3rd Bully, 4th Lescott, 5th Robbie Keane.
Simon Osbourne
Neil Emblem
Brian laws can at least double up and multi task
What about Alex Rae
what about Venus for left back ?
what about any of the 's from the last 20 years......gotta be an improvment !
Seeing as were up to our necks in muck and bullets how about Keith Downing - a good one to have with you in the trenches
Don't need a reason that hasn't already been given 306 times.
Gone Fishing, no debate, only one contender, the goal machine
Steve Bull
I'd give my left nut to turn the clock back and have him up front right now.
Much as bully is a legend, im not sure he is the missing piece.........he only got around 20 or below most seasons in the champo, and SEB is not far of that pace now and we create little.
The defence is where our huge problems are......we don't have a single leader on the pitch.
Here's Keith Downing, shown amongst the legends of the club... http://www.wolvesheroes.com/legends-56-60/
