Cheers Donny lad was a well deserved win by all accounts, we can all dare to dream now like any other club in last 8 but the league is the bread and butter and staying up is key which by the way I think we will now so just a case of your boys doing your bit and getting promoted at the expense of that other Massive Sheffield club!

It was a deserved win. We were rubbish in the first half, but made a game of it in 2nd, and could so easily have been a draw. Hope your injured lad is not too bad.

Can't work out the red card, but we were so lucky the ref missed mckenzies arm in the first half. That really did look like a straight red, and not even a free kick was blown.

Good luck tykes hope you get a big name draw at your place as you could well pull off another killing.

Don't think we will be playing you next year as I doubt we will go up and I doubt you will drop

I think he gave a red because Smith arrived at Delap long after he'd headed the ball clear. He was never going to win the ball, ever, so the ref thought it was just a foul challenge, so normally yellow? Except Smith clearly swings an elbow into Delaps midriff as he jumps, so ref gave a red. It's so obvious if you watch it, strange how Furzdonny can't actually understand or see any of this though. Red Card, won't be rescinded IMO.

Delap didn't chelp about it coz he's not a nesh player like most in the PL.

Except the Ref reported he had sent off Smith for an arm to the head. Either the ref was seeing things or the lomg throws have left Delap deformed.

If I may add my twopenneth...

Smith may have been a tad unfortunate with the actual sending-off, but he did throw an elbow into Delap's midriff long after the ball had gone. And to be fair, he'd been trying his best to get in trouble throughout the game; with regards to KR's comments, Smith has that reputaion for a reason.

I thought we were exceptional first half, and MK just couldn't handle our movement and vision at all. Following the half-time pep-talk they made more of a game of it. I'm not sure what was said, but the effect can be best described as "get amongst 'em"

That said, it was a great game to watch, and good luck to MK in their quest for the play-offs. Unfortunately for them, they came up against the Championship's form side who, with a new-found self-belief, look like they can win every game. It will take a very good team (or Trevor Kettle) to beat us at the moment.
It won't last forever, but we'll enjoy it for now...
