Can't believe no-one has mentioned Klose
One for the future
FELLAINI
Also, Cahill.
DUNCAN EDWARDS
Trezeguet had a good header
Assuming defensively too - Kaboul gets his head on just about everything
Aaron Lennon, we'd be lost on set pieces without him
Henrik Larsson
Joe Jordan.
For a small fella, Evra is quite good in the air.
Klinsman was fantastic with his head
First goal for Spurs was that header at sheff wed followed by the famous dive
Andy gray is the best i think in my time, totally fearless

Bit before your time, but Cliff Jones was one of the best headers of a ball Spurs ever had. He could jump two or three feet of the floor, and plant the ball in the back of the net on a regular basis.
Certainly not Peter Crouch. Never known someone so tall be so terrible in the air =)

Don't think Crouch is bad in the air at all
He's not one of the best but a lot of the criticism he gets is because he can get a touch on a ball 4 feet behind him that's curling away. And people groan that it isn't on target.
Steve Bruce was a monster. Head like a zeppelin
Colin Hendry was no slouch either.
Les Ferdinand was a beast in the air
Loved when Ferdinand would take it on his chest at a height most players wouldn't get a head on it
yeah ferdi was a beast in the air....
#hangtime
I agree with Sandy about Cliff Jones & his heading, however for me the best ever was Alan Gilzean. He seemed to almost catch the ball on his head and then glide it towards his target, which was more often than not into the path of the other G Man, Greaves!!!
Another great header of the ball too was the great Denis Law!!
Who will remember this trio from the archives.
I saw all three and they were brilliant headers of the ball
Alan Gilzean (born is the king of WHL)
Ron Davies - Southampton
Wyn Davies - Newcastle
Ron & Wyn were'nt related but both played for Wales at similar times
