This has been far too easy for Zenit, there is still so much wrong with this team its incredibly worrying.
Shut up Suarez_7.
We have no focal point tonight because Sturridge isn't playing. We need another ready made striker in summer.
Coming from the area myself, either we need to get a decent sport science team or start replacing people with new ideas. The fitness is shocking and the mentality weak. Never underestimate the benefits of a decent SES team. Just look at British Cycling, Barca, England 2003 WC team...all benefited from quality interventions. We need something. If you want to play the high pressure, high movement game you need to be the fittest in the league as well as technically able.

Really fred and so are the goals conceded to do with the striking focal point.
Realism will get you nowhere here, RAP.
Do you think you could keep Suarez at Liverpool next season?

No, Goofy.
But having a good striking unit takes the pressure off the defence.
And yes gunnerthru he has already said he is staying next season.
It's all about Suarez's performance in the home leg.
Wouldn't blame him for leaving.
What is the point of Downing
Only if we show we can make a serious challenge for the top 4 next season, which based on the last two performances looks a world away
This really is depressing lads
This could be a terrible 2nd half to the season ....

Bad week for us, big performance needed on sunday and sturridge has to come back we are a different team with a focal point upfront.
We really miss Sturridge already. He'll be crucial in the Swansea game.
Yes i agree re sturridge improves the balance of tye team fred but rodgers is not sorting the defence out espially when we concde one we do more

Nothing is impossible at home but yes it will cost Liverpool a lot of energy to get through.
I don't understand why 'you wouldn't blame Suarez for leaving.' He's the reason we haven't scored tonight. Created a lot of good chances for him that he has wasted... We were never going to bombard their goal with amazing chance after amazing chance, so the 4 or 5 good chances we've had we really need to be taking.
He's as much at fault for us playing bad as everyone else is.
Incredibly depressing result.
