I prefer it like this as it means I can watch more of the games and get a better idea of those involved.
The whole tournament from Group Stages onwards should be played in one day, my little brothers u10s football team does this and it's much more exciting

over 2 weeks so we can watch all the big games.
This format is good, as other said, because you can watch as many of the games as possible.
This way, normally United end up playing when I have to work lates but it doesn't clash this time.
It means the prize money will increase as well as the broadcasting revenue and sponsorship opportunities continue to grow. I think it just shows that this is the strongest the Champions League has ever been and that the format is perfect as it is.
I'd like to get back to this under 10s format. I'm assuming all the teams not playing will be around the edge of the pitch in marquees and tents with there parents drinking tins?
