Don’t you mean was a good player? He never hit the level he was at for us at Spurs. That was partly down to injuries but also down to his drink driving charge which Harry never forgave him for (because of personnel reasons……he lost his best friend to a drunk driver) He was frozen out of the squad and has been out for so long, even AVB doesn’t want to know him. I’m probably on my own here but I’d rather Bentley and his ego stayed in London. I’m presuming we’d be paying at least half of his wages which I’m guessing are big? I’d rather invest in other parts of the team. It’s a no from me.
