I only know the Spoons pub in Kingston, had a pint there just before Xmas, but seems quite a bubbly place, plenty of other pubs and clubs. Nice spot right by the Thames.
Went to Kingston upon Hull in January............................. you want to hope upon Thames is better because the one I went to is a complete sheite pit
Cheers Sandy! I very nearly applied for a job down in wood green, any info on that area if it comes up again..I'm pretty sure its spurs?
Kingston is great for a night out mate. I don't live to far from there so on the odd occasion go out clubbing there. 'Oceanas' is probaby the best place and it's huge with about 5 rooms.
Nice area.
I have mainly worked there, so not sure about the quality of pubs and bars etc (there is that "Oceania" place etc) . The restaurants I have been in are ok.

I know Wood Green very well, my old stamping ground as a teen. Very cosmopolitan these days, and still have the odd pint in the Labour Club at the Wood Green end of WHL. Still have plenty of old pals from the area.
Excellent, cheers Don! Were there Monday through to the Saturday so may see you on the Friday ight haha, ill have to ask everybody if they use Ja!

Is that the club right on the Thames, near to Kingston Bridge. At my age not into clubbing these days, but am always interested in the layout of different areas.

Only on a flood tide.
Tis opposite the entrance to Kingston station.

I used to walk to the games back in the day. My Gran used to live in WHL, so the area is my manor so to say.

I need some specs then, I took a train at Kingston Station back to Waterloo, and must have walked straight past it. Probably the pint and a half I had in Spoons.
Cheers Sandy, really appreciate it mate!

Cheers mate. I go to Richmond a fair bit, easy to get to on the Overground. The reason I was in Kingston, because I had walked the section of the Thames Path from Richmond, via Teddington Lock down to Kingston. Nice stretch of the Thames.

Cheers hounslow, ill see if I can convince the rest of the team to venture out! To be fair palmers, the store is performing above its targets so ill have to see whay happens
i live in palmers greek...sorry green , quite near wood green
I live next to Kingston and whilst I prefer Guildford or Woking for a night out, Kingston is also pretty good.
Few points to mention from the conversation above though.
Oceana is basically shutting down or is already shut because of a stabbing last year which led to it losing its licence. Even before that though, its not a place I'd really have recommended because the bouncers are complete <surfers> and I have seen a ton of fights their.
The club near the river is currently called McCluskey's (or it was until fairly recently), had a few fun nights there. Friends have told me its rough, but i've never had any trouble there.
There's a Hippodrome which I generally don't go too, seems okay, absolutely massive.
Best place I've found though is a smallish club called Bacchus, which is underground, has good music and generally seems like a pretty friendly place, there's also a very good O'Neils.
Hope this is of some help
Greek Lanes.
Until the bit around Manor House where it goes Turkish.
Cheers, super Tottenham. Massive help mate!
