I'm too young to have lived through the Bhatti years and I thank my lucky stars for that, but this, I think, is the lowest point I've known being a Wolves fan.

Even those excruciating playoff losses in the mid-late 90's or THAT season when we blew a 10 point lead at the top of Div 1 don't really compare to this.

I said this to my dad as I watched us lose to Ipswich 2-0 on New Years Day; throughout the 24 long, long years I've supported my beloved Wolves there's always been someone or something special about the team. This is the only Wolves team I've known that just has nothing. There's no standout player, no spirit, no fight, no passion. Nothing. I've bemoaned Wolves for years, but for being plucky losers, a touch unlucky etc. This lot don't have any of those excuses.

This is a team of losers. We are going down.

Saunders was dropped in it as Connor was a year ago but he's not up to the job in the same way as TC wasn't. There were many managers who we could have brought in who would have had us comfortably in mid-table. Saunders is not up to the job, he was a really poor choice and he will take us down.
