BROAD = POOR MAN'S IRFAN PATHAN

Pathan is the guy who took a hattrick against the superior batting lineup of the porkies. On the contrary Broad just managed the feat against the tail enders.

Where has Graeme "THE WORLDS GREATEST SPINNER" Swann disappeared ??
I assume that he is hiding in the back pockets of the Indian batsmen.

Maksi - 1 wicket doan and still trailing.s this what you call turing around??
---------------
Yepp that is exactly what I call "turning it around". Haven't you been watching this test match at all? Don't misunderstand everything I write now. I am not talking about the match position at its current stage, but at the match position compared to where it was going less than 18 hours ago.
You are just panicking a little because you know it's true, and probably can't even believe that it happened?
You were in total control and a good partnership from anyone of these first 2 and the turnaround is complete. Deny that?

All my years within the game, and also chatting on here and never seen this word "porkies" before. What does it mean?

Are you saying that a porkie is not a tailender but a recognised batsman? Where does this name "porkie" come from?

Maksi
Don't pretend to be so ignorant. You very well know what/who is a porkie.

ok I give up mate, I have asked 3 times now and am not getting the answer. Just for the record, and as I stated earlier, I have no idea what you are talking about and haven't seen the word after over 40 years in the game. It's probably not important anyway?

Thanks Neon, I have seriosly never heard of that word on here or anywhere else.

Yes it's not so important in the context of todays game so lets give it up.
Otherwise this thread would be in a danger of being modded if "somebody" complains.

Neon, what will you be thinking if England survive the early exchanges and draw level with India, having only lost the out of form Cook? I imagine you will be gutted after how things were looking for you for the most part of yesterday? I know I would be.

After a long heated debate one can now safely assume that the general consensus is that Broad is indeed a poor man's Pathan.
=========================================

And after reading several of your posts both here and elsewhere it is safe to assume that you are an attention seeking adolescent who has never seen a woman with no clothes on.

And as I said on another thread, neither the internet, or the pages of Razzle, count

What is a razzle ?

It is a magazine depicting ladies in no clothing. Ofter found on the top shelf of most stores or petrol stations that sell magazines.

Now could one of your supporters at the ground kindly stay by the rope and throw the ball back as Bell and Strauss have decided to win this test match, and series, by hitting boundaries. Thank You. Your lead is evaporating quickly. England are motoring this morning. Neon, fell the momentum turning now then? Or has this particular test match always been a close affair in your eyes?
