It's alright spoon, Pearson will be your hero again when we win next

We're 5th, we've got 2 games in hand. Have a little bit of faith (and patience) and relax

It's so frustrating though - We can't seem to get over the finish line!

It's just not acceptable, the performances have been poor!

The last 3 or 4 have, but we're still in the mix, what does that tell you about the rest of our season so far? We can be frustrated ( I know I am) but we have it in our own hands, so there's still little to really complain about.

Having said which, the "Pearson Out!" Brigade will be along any minute so I'm off

at this rate we wont even make the play offs with Forest, Blackburn and Brighton hovering like vultures.

Get Di Canio in.....now! Like spoon said, NP just ain't upto it. All that money, all that salary, for what? My opinion is the same as two months ago, get him out. It WILL be too late. You see.

Deary me <duh>

Di Canio, really?

Looks as though there IS 1 Cov fan on the 606!

Even listening to his post match interview is just uninspiring me!

Wish he'd tell us something we didn't know. Standard replies to Stringers questions! Change the tune Pearson!

Drab football, no idea, not clinical enough!

Get real just another, just because I am voicing my opinion of a managers performance, all you can say is.....a cov fan on here. Wake up. Allow others to have an opinion without accusing us of being from another land. What is it with people like you?

Di Canio?! Really?!

I really can't believe how THICK some fans are.
If we sack Pearson now, who is going to make us better at this stage in the season? He has built a solid team and its a team good enough to get promotion yet a couple of bad results and people want to start all over again?! Get a grip!

Wow. How come you are allowed to make a slanderous remark like that? Not on.

posted on 19/2/13

Yes we seem to have a solid team but they simply aren't performing! That has to be the managers fault.

Watford have god knows how many loan players that seem to be playing very well together.

Kinda puts to bed the myth about new players needing time to gel.

Spot on spoon.

I don't get why we fall apart when we get into the auto spots. All of a sudden it's as though the team haven't met before. There weren't any particularly bad individual performances tonight, but the team performance wasn't good enough. It's true that Charlton worked hard and closed us down, but it was alarming how many times one of our players had the ball and didn't have anyone to pass to. It seemed the overall reading of the game was poor and not enough players took responsibility.

So, to sum up, I agree with the original article: We bottled it collectively. It's as if the pressure of position weighs heavily on our shoulders and all the joy and confidence drains out. I can see why someone like Di Canio would be attractive to sort that out, but replacing the manager mid-season remains a desperation measure and has so many negatives that a small-term boost would not cover for. Change the manager and you remove any chance of promotion.

So it's the managers fault? This Is the same 11 who played and won 5 out of 5, so that was all down to the manager too?! Nothing at all to do with the players?

As for loans, we tried that approach before and it failed. And watfords loan players, 9 from one team! They already know each other!

I'm voicing my opinion 69, I don't see how replacing Pearson with ANYONE, let alone that fasc15t tw4t, at this stage of the season will see us progress. We simply have to see this season out with Nigel at the helm.

You only post on here to stick the knife in when times are bad, no constructive criticisms, just come straight out with "Di Canio in!".

Really strange saying this but where we're you when things were going well?

posted on 19/2/13

Well said JA! People soon come out when we lose a couple of games yet when things are going well they keep quiet! It's like people just enjoy moaning!!

Some of the posts on here are getting as bad as the callers on radio Leicester!

Luckily I'm snowboarding in Austria Atm so I don't have to listen to that sh it on the way home from the game

I really can't see how anyone can be positive after the last 2 defeats!

The majority of the previous 5 wins were lucky as we played poorly in them too!

People need to wake up and be realistic instead of optimistic.

We are rubbish and won't go up!

posted on 19/2/13

Get someone else in and we'll be worse and definitely won't go up. Stick with it until May. We'll see what happens then.

69 and his Di Canio obsession though

If you're going to WUM and stick the knife in atleast say Adkins or a decent alternative to NP, Silly Sky-Blue

posted on 19/2/13

Why do so many people assume that form cannot change? Stick a load of wins together and we're going up and we've now found the winning formula so everything before doesn't count. Lose a few and we're useless, been worked out and everything before doesn't count. You're not being realistic, you're being pessimistic. Realistic is somewhere in the middle.

I've heard it all now! Played poorly? So a 4-0 away win is poor? A 1-0 win against a team one place below us is poor? A 6-1 is poor? 15 odd goals scored and 2 conceded is poor?
