Nice article.
We definitely have the players in the team to stay up, but desperately need a striker adding to the squad in my opinion. Lee Novak is a warrior but isn't Championship quality week in week out. Alan Lee is Jackie Channing his way through each game seemingly and I think even he knows hes past it now.
My view on Town's Felix Baumgartner down the table is that the team is totally burnt out. Grayson played the same 11 nearly every game for the first half of the season, and for any budding Football Manager enthusiast, you know that it kills your team!!
In a sense I don't blame Grayson because our squad isn't good enough on the whole. But long term it will catch up you, and I think it has.
They stuck 7 past us last season.
At home.
Know how you feel lads.
The plus point, if there is one, is that all our failings manifested themselves in that one game last night...So Robins has seen exactly what and where the problems are..If we had played badly but scraped a draw he might have been tempted to stick with it.
As it is, I don't expect to see many of the players from last night and Sunday playing for Town again...Mark Lillis must be shaking his head...all his hard work thrown down the pan...pity Deano didn't stick with him, dour as it was.
Robins will now be revealed as a brilliant manager, or just another of the same as...
Will be interesting...to say the least. I'm already thinking we are going down...so if he saves us, I'll be delighted...
Hows Joel Lynch getting on? Was disappointed to lose him to you lot! Might wish he hung on now judging by some of the comments on here!
joel thinks he can play..he cant..
he also think his pace will get him out of trouble, it wont..
he regularly plays alongside our captain and nobody, even himself, knows what the f-ck he is going to do, or not do, next..
it does not help joel..
Look we are what we are , no miracle change in form from this lot of donkeys . The squad isn't good anough end of , no manager including pep and ferguson couldn't turn these players into good never say die players . Dean won't back the manager we have he's hoping robins can do a miracle job and keep us up on the cheap but it ain't going to happen I repeat it ain't going to happen girls .
it's not going to happen then...?
No jacko some come back to earth lad there is no pluses from last night at all deans a fookin in 38s words c*nt .
And I also think dean should either grow a pair or sell up to somone with a pair .
We played an away fixture 1 full day after playing a premier league side, with a very similar team to the one played on sunday, that happened to already be burnt-out. Last night was always going to happen.
Saturday against Ipswich will define our fate this season.
As 38 would say , that's ba*acks for am excuse .
Loui...Mark my words, Robins will save the day....
Yes he will i like robins jacko , it's the players that i don't like .
I think he'll drop a load of "first teamers" and use a few fringe players and loanees to keep us up...
If hunt plays on saterday what's the point in all this .
38YEARS...
“joel thinks he can play..he cant..”
Ten-four 38!
He’s not the only one in the team who suffers from delusions of grandeur!
I have been saying for quite some time now that most of them are lacking in basic skills, and an understanding of the way to play football. It beggars belief how poor some of them are.

Maybe deano wants to go back so we can try and win the only league title we haven't won yet, the 3rd division ?
then we can stick that on the badge along with the 3 stars...
Here's a tip for Robins for motivation for Saturday, puttthe penalty shootout on from last May
----------------------------------------------------------
Cracking idea in theory, but I do see one flaw.....
Our players are so f-cking stupid they'll probably learn the wrong thing and try and emulate Steve Simonsen, and start celebrating hitting "conversions" from 12 yards.........
We're going down, aren't we?
Champers, your on thread duty!
