Not the best note to leave a great European career but he's made if stern stuff.

Good game and great effort. We seemed to lose the urgency when we got the third. Either that or the subs unsettled us.

And we really must stop shooting ourselves in the foot!

Fantastic game.

I thought the only disappointment other than Carra's dropped bollik, was Shelvey coming on for Henderson. Shelvey had little impact.

Still, I'm proud of the players. They played them off the park for 70 mins and ran their hearts out. Last twenty, we sadly rarely threatened.

I was shocked that BR thought Shelvey should come on, he just doesn't have a track record of showing any composure. Fowler is just saying Shelvey should have scored.

Shelvey is most likely to end up in that position to score

He's also most likely to get booked

I still like him and thinks he's got a big future. He's got fire and talent.

I can see the reasoning for bringing Shelvey because in a siege he would be one player who knows how to score a goal.

The problem was we lost our midfield balance a little as a result, and also the substitution of Assaidi on meant that Enrique was no longer a threat.

FBK! Yeah great game and for once we showed some real guts and fight. Lets hope they can carry this on.

I thought Assaidi was excellent when he came on though.
