Neon - fair comment mate.

Viru - No idea.

Personally, I would never leave my beloved country. If I did, I would expect to bring my. Future children born in a different country to support that country, whilst respecting England as it is part of their heritage.

I follow them both. Completely different. For example they never play each other... When they do I never watch. I compare it to my parents argueing...

There are 118 football teams including my boys in the Conference.

In Test cricket there are 9 nations...

Completely different!

There is obligation to support a team for geographical reasons. Its more for the appreciation of the sport. Im sure the Indian fans are proud to have great players such as Tendulkar and Dravid as part of their heritage regardless of where they were born.

I assume those indian fans pay their taxes to live in England and therefore have no obligation to support the English cricket team. Look at the English national football team. Its managed by an overpaid Italian who continues to let the fans down.

Support who you admire regardless of where you were born and where you live.

Man Utd... I presume you're from Lancashire.

Does it not annoy you seeing people from Yorkshire at Old Trafford.

I feel embarrassed for my Yorkshire born Man U fans when I hear an anti-Yorkshire chant.

Yorkie,

I have no issue with people who follow another team based on "its in the blood" and so on......... but in the T20 world cup in england, the indian fans BOOED the english national anthem before their game with england...... pathetic, uncalled for and above all churlish..........

Yorkie, its great that you take pride in being English and from Yorkshire and those are your reasons when choosing the teams you follow but nowadays your local football teams has minimal local players and one of England best cricket players speaks in a South African accent.

I can understand why someone living in England would support India or some living in Yorkshire would support Man Utd because they want to support a team they can get behind regardless of territorial pride

With you there Afridi.

Fair enough Man U - I can respect your view.
