If you were at the Library, you don't even have to physically be in your seat to get refreshments.

Would annoy the fack out of me.
Some people just do it out of habit now.
Remember the times we used to have to run after the final whistle. In traffic for another 90 mins.

Should have run faster!

But I can say that because I am the Roadrunner!

Suggest you eat more cucumbers and stay off the digestives then.

"Did anybody go to the Liverpool game this season? The queue outside WHL train station after the game was huge!!! I gave up after 20 minutes of not moving and took the long walk to 7Sisters"

When new WHL comes, the main port of call has to be Northumberland Park. That is the only station with the physical space to at least try and build a 3rd 8 carriage platform.

The Seven Sisters tube interchange is impossible to upgrade, even though deeper platforms could possibly be down at Seven Sisters / WHL train stations.

Northumberland Park, plus weekend match trains doing Liverpool St, WHL, and beyond is IMHO the way to go.

Is this likely to happen? I know Haringey council wanted THFC to foot the bill for new transport infrastructure but the club told them where to go.

That was a while back - has anything changed because public transport (train sevices) to WHL is carp. Especially from where I live in the midlands.

I was in row 2 and about 3/4 people left with 5 minutes to go and they had a kid with them, missed Bale scoring and coming over exactly where they were sitting

Roadrunner :

Genius is our resident ITK on all things civil eng going on with the NDP. He may have some answers.

As that train line is my "home" line, I can tell you tis an utter joke. I was commuting when the Twente and Inter home games were on, and the service (platform, trains) was an utterly embarrassing joke. As well as a safety risk.

If an extra 20,000 per game turn up, it won't be by car.
Given that Liverpool St and Tottenham Hale are major hubs, then Northumberland Park is the only "least resort" option IMHO. Some would say that a Northumberland Park tube terminus could be done (given tis the engineering sheds for the Victoria line) . But I doubt that is trivial work either (before you get into who pays for it) .

Seven Sisters station IMHO has to be deliberately discouraged as a rail interchange.

You Londoners are a bloody joke when I go to WHL I appreciate the full 90mins and get my full value of money. Your all in such a bloody hurry, the Seven Sisters station isn't even that far to walk. You all need to chill out down there and appreciate what a great city London is!!
