Torres's problem is confidence, its SO obvious. In the two games in which he's scored (can't count the Wycombe game), for the rest of those games he's arguably been the best player on the pitch.

I think we've past the point now where a goal will turn it around, it's gunna take a run of goals (e.g. 3 in 6 games). But once this mental barrier in his head has been crashed down, which i promise is only a question of time, we've got the striker we paid for. N the introduction of a link man for him (e.g. the 'Pastore' figure), will make him all the more lethal.

What HHHBF said. For him to get a run of goals though, we will need a link man starting like Benayoun, and that is of course what Pastore was going to be.

You can't compare a world class player like Torres with.... Kalou,Torres is a proven goalscorer at this level Kalou 'couldn't score in a brothel' as the saying goes.Torres defo needs to start to regain his confidence and get back to his goalscoring form he had at Liverpool.

But Kalou scored more than Torres last season,,,so what can Torres not score in?

There is a reason every manager we have had, has put Kalou on the bench.
The guy does not know how to finish and he should never start matches,with Torres It's more of a confidence thing and getting used to play in our system,he has to start every game to regain his confidence and his goalscoring form.
